What size touchscreen do you recommend for mounting in the Cessna 172 panel and using Sim Innovation Air Manager in Mixed Reality? Is 13" enough or do you recommend 15.6". I see that there is a 10.6" to mount in the panel but it will be way too small?
The size depends on what the Cessna 172 panel is exactly. Some do it with one and others use a combination of smaller ones. It really depends on the shape, size and layout that you need to match it to. If it’s just a standalone monitor I always recommend 20-24” to enable more realistic instrument sizing.
As Sling mentioned, 20-24 is ideal, I personally run 22’s for the overhead and side stuff.
For the front Left and Right I run 15.6" I would not recommend any smaller than that.
