Does anyone know if there are actually cargo missions for Transall C160 by AzurPoly in the Career Mode?

Does anyone know if there are actually cargo missions for Transall C160 by AzurPoly in the Career Mode?
I want to know this too before I throw 102,000,000 Cr at it. I bought it and am learning to fly it in free flight with the aim of flying it in Career but like you am waiting for the answer to your question.
In my last try there were none yet. But it generates passive income, a good lot of.
Maintenance is not very expensive yet:
The same situation happens with LVFR’s A340, you cannot make missions with it but it generates passive income. But its maintenance is very expensive.
What are the maintenance costs like for the C160? I fear that costs will be prohibitive in owning too many in the fleet particularly if there are no high earning missions in Cargo.
I am just looking at the wash fee - phew! And the resale value is already nearly half of what you paid.
I have just one and it’s still in good condition so I’m paying the maintenance. But when the maintenance costs of the A340 became prohibitive I simply sold the plane.
Do you think you will recoup the costs of buying it before you sell due to maintenance costs? Have you worked it out yet?
No, I don’t, I’m a very bad company owner I don’t make Excel files and so on. But it’s almost a million per hour and I usually do all the maintenance in cycles of 25 hours, so I’ts about 20 million per cycle of income and about a couple of millions of maintenance so It’s worth.
The problem is, as the aircraft become older their maintenance is much more expensive. After six or seven cycles It came that my A340 needed a maintenance of about 20 million, so I decided to sell it. I’m watching this one and if maintenance becomes too much expensive I’ll just sell it and buy it again later when I can fly with it.
It seems crazy to give us a plane with no missions!
Absolutely. And after 10 months the heavy airliners’ certification is still disabled and nobody explains why.
So I bought the Transall for my Cargo Company, which I will leave on OFF. I then requested a Wishlist item for MS/Asobo to make Cargo missions for it and was told I could not make a wish for a 3rd party aircraft!! I have queried this as I feel it was not a request for a 3rd party issue but rather an MS/Asobo need to make missions for it. Still not heard back but will update here if I do.
Let me get this straight.
You can buy the C160 in Career Mode with your hard-earned credits, but then there is absolutely no missions generated for it?
If that is true, all that does is cast an even brighter spotlight on how uncooked Career Mode really is. As if more evidence was even needed…
Yes, 102,000,000 credits only to be told I cannot request missions for it because it is a 3rd party dev product. What the ….. Why does any dev want to bother making anything Career mode inclusive if there is no end point of using it. I am fuming, wasting that many credits on something I can’t use. Why are we not told there will never be any missions for it so don’t bother buying it!
I’m very confused by this and can’t imagine at all it’s intentional (at least, long term.) There are around 11 career-compatible third party aircraft in the sim, currently. I imagine most of them work or we’d have heard about it in the forums. They also specifically have their compatible mission types listed on the Marketplace, so clearly it should work. It sounds potentially more like either a 3rd party dev issue (addon not properly configured to be used for missions of that type, or that specific mission type is not yet supported at all for third parties for some reason.)
Surely the C160 is heavy cargo and like the A340 requires the heavy certificate?
Until we get the heavy certificate the missions won’t populate in career mode, that’s my take on it
However in the beta we can test the 747 without the heavy certificate, I think they waived it specifically so we can test these aircraft, Im hoping once we go back to non beta SU4 the heavy certicate and all the missing heavy planes and all it’s missions will show up, can someone from Asobo confirm what the plan is?
Are there any signs of the Saab 340 having heavy cargo missions in SU Beta4, which could mean the Transall will hopefully be able to be used as well? I think we need to raise this issue at the next development online discussion. How or why should 3rd party devs develop career mode compatibility if MS/Asobo do not allow us to request missions for them.
This is my opinion too. There are no heavy cargo missions for the Saab 340B or for the A400, so the C160 follows the same pattern. I guess that this is because the heavy certification is not enabled yet.
So I return to my original question: why this certification is not enabled after 10 months? I have read no explanations yet.
So I had a look there might be a bug with the MP and or the certificates required
It says you only need turbo prop certificate, which I have, and it’s a heavy cargo plane
Currently there are no heavy cargo missions at all in career mode, just medium cargo and below
So either the certificates required are wrong or it’s the lack of heavy cargo, I think it’s the latter. I haven’t seen heavy cargo missions ever, Asobo needs to deliver here
Agreed. But with their focus on getting the PS5 version up and running for DEC 8th not much chance of that happening.
