Hi. I may be missing something but I don’t see how to turn off the instruments when in the external view. There was an option for this before version 7. Thanks
It’s been moved to the assists options page. Under Assistsnce Options, User Experience, instruments heads up display.

Thank you! I could live with having them show in external view since I don’t use it much, but needed to get them turned off inside the cockpit!

Is there a keyboard binding to switch these external view instruments on/off during flight?
With SU6 “^” had worked for me, but not in SU7 anymore.
Cannot find any binding/function in Keyboard Controls Option, that seems to match.
ah, just had to reset my keyboard profile 
The key “^” is working again and toggles between HUD instruments shown / hidden.
Can’t find the corresponding binding entry in the controls options…but as long as it works, it’s fine for me.
