Turtle Beach yoke with Bravo throttle

Is it possible to use the Honeycomb bravo throttle quadrant with the Turtle Beach Velocity One yoke on PC or does the yoke have to match the quadrant brand? Maybe plug the TB yoke in as usual to the PC via USB but then plug the Bravo directly into the PC via USB-C port. Reckon they would both work correctly?

Yes, they should work just fine.

Great! Thanks for the quick reply.

Have a look through this thread. There’s some good info in here.

:+1: Good stuff.

I use both together some times.Make sure there are no duplicate controls which may conflict eg Flaps, throttle, trim

Will do. I just ordered a Honeycomb yoke to try out as well. Maybe I’ll retire the TB Velocity one if I like it well enough. Also ordered a VKB Gladiator NXT Premium. Figure good for some planes and helicopters. Which leads me to…

On another note…I’m wanting to do the helicopters but don’t want a set of rudders for them specifically. Any rudders out there that will do OK for GA planes, maybe an Air Bus, AND helicopters? I know this question has been asked a lot but it seems all replies are a few years back. Kinda looking for new Info if there is any.

Any set of rudder pedals would work.
Now you have to decide on quality and price.
In your sim settings they are programmed as anti-torque pedals for helicopters.

Twist grip of a yoke could act as rudder eg TCA Airbus yoke has a twist grip

Got it. I’ve read that helicopter pedals don’t have the tension or middle stop(?) like planes so I was looking for a happy medium between the two. Something with maybe removable springs for this I’ve read. I’m kinda lost.

The VKB Gladiator I have coming has the twist stick I believe so I’ll give this a go as well.

There are several makers of pedals, such as Virpil, Winwing, Thrustmaster, Logitech, Honeycomb to name a few. These forums are rich with wonderful information.
I have the Thrustmaster TPR’s and modified them by removing the springs and adding a damper.
Work great for helicopters and general aviation planes.
I love them but cannot attest to to other brands.
They are fairly expensive though.

Oooooooo…I like em. Little above my price range at the moment. Around $250 or less is where I need to be at the moment.

I’ve read for the price these are OK. Reckon they would work alright for helicopters also or be able to be altered to do so?

Logitech G Pro Flight Rudder Pedals

The main thing about rudder (anti-torque) peddles for helicopters is that you don’t want a spring return to center. They would still work but it would be very tiring.

Any pedals with a removable return to center spring? I thinks I’m saying that right.
