I’ve not done ANY multiplayer in FS2020… but I’m UK, a real life pilot too, and interested to see what MP can bring to the experience.

Wow, been away for a few months and this thread has taken off more than I thought (excuse the pun). Welcome everyone. Nice to see we can still fly aboard in the sim even with the new covid variant

I expect the aforementioned little beasty is very likely to increase the number of msfs pilots over the next few days, when Boris eventually gets round to locking down the whole country again.
Another UK pilot here, a few miles from EGPF Glasgow.
You’re right about this year’s lockdowns increasing sim time… my usual annual motorbike trip has been replaced with travelling to new places in game instead.
I will however be mostly avoiding UK flights until after the January world update, which I’m eagerly anticipating!

Hi folks, guess what I got for Christmas?
Long time simmer here, FS2002/04/X as well as combat sim 1 & 2 back in the day. Been away quite as while as FSX was rubbish compared to 2004! Based out of Cranfield but currently trying to fly around the world, just to see whats out there. Just made it to Newfoundland with the Citation (smallest thing I could get across the Atlantic in) and maan that AP is terrible!! looking forward to getting back into something easier to fly so I can sight see better!!

As for VR, I’m loving it, although I’m struggling to get on too much at the moment, with RL getting in the way a bit.
I’ve been quite pleasantly surprised with the performance I’m getting with the Rift CV1 and my now rather ageing PC, having limited the FPS to just 30fps. I’m not obsessively watching the FPS counter though. I’d rather just fly and the frame limit does make the experience far more smooth.
I’ve been thinking about another headset and GPU, but there’s apparently not so much of a rush now.

Been flying sone of the Bush Trips when I saw a post about creating your own.
So my Cranfield to Caernarfon via 7 legs and various waypoints is done, installed and I have tested the legs to Wolverhampton. Tomorrow I will finish it off.
Planning on creating another Bush Trip from Anglesey via the Low Level to Barton then on to Blackpool, with various waypoints and about 5 or 6 legs.

Canada and Norway and Switzerland my favourite places to fly. Just early retired so more time for my hobbies hopefully!

Fly from Birmingham, done a round uk tour when it first came out, across the pond at the moment sight seeing, near Las Vegas at the moment, looking forward to seeing what they do with UK update, might make the long trip back then

Liverpool Airport, I know it well that is where I started learning to fly from.
The organisation operated from a portacabin on the main apron and used to fly Cessna 152’s from there.
Liverpool is where I did my first solo flight from, 6 circuits with downwind being over the Mersey. Generally when coming into land and flying over Hale there was a wee bit of rough air.
As you presumably fly a C152 and if you are willing/able, could you please try a landing at EGNE in Live Weather, as i keep getting within about 10ft of touchdown and the wind appears to change dramatically, causing real difficulty in getting down without bending the undercarriage.
I’ve tried nearby EGNX, again in live weather, and that appears to be fine, so it might be that the main 03/21 runway at EGNE overlaps a border between a couple of “weather grid squares” and the wind conditions are significantly different in each.
Alternatively, and possibly more likely, it might just be me being a ■■■■ pilot.
