same here. and even worse that none of my setting ever save, so i have to turn this off every launch

The reason was that the issue had already been feedback-logged in this SU3 Beta topic (into which the other bug topic - including your post above - has now been merged). The tag will be changed to bug-logged once the issue has been successfully reproduced by the test team and turned into an official bug.

Just an FYI - something appears to have changed in the SU4 beta v1.6.22.0 build.
With Landmark, Airport and City enabled, I see this in Kyoto (spawn on the Hotel Okura helipad (RJ8HP):
With Landmark and Airport enabled (no change):
With Landmark only enabled (airports/Heliports are correctly removed):
With City only enabled:
Edit: On further testing, the City POIs are still categorized with the Landmark POIs, so no change after all.
An chance to have this fix in 2026 ? I like to have the Landmark showing but not the cities and this is not possible with this issue 
Hopefully this fix related to this issue POI: City and town name missing also fixed the issue reported in this report.

Looks like it is fixed. From the same vanatage point as my previous post in Nov. 2025:
Landmark, Airport and City enabled (all showing, same as before, as expected):
