Hello all,

I can’t launch under steam after changing my card.

Many thanks

Thank you for this report. We’ve moved your topic into the User Support Hub.

The Bug Reporting Hub is for posting suspected or confirmed bugs that other users are able to reproduce without duplicating an existing bug report. Using the template or providing all the relevant information about your bug and sim setup is required in order to provide valuable information, feedback, and replication steps to our test team.

If you are not sure if your issue is a bug or need further input from the community, please use the User Support Hub category. If the community can replicate your issue, first search the Bug category to see if there’s an existing topic. If it already exists, contribute to that report. Duplicate bug reports will be closed.

If you believe it is a new report and no duplicate exists, then create a new bug topic using the provided topic template.

All issues caused by or involving third-party addons/mods should be reported to the third-party developer. Assure that no addons/mods are used when reporting issues in Bug Reports.

You really need to provide more information. Old card make/model? New card? Any software or driver updates in there too? Anything else work ok? Any error messages? Did you check logs?

Maybe someone can help you with the information you provided but it’s a longshot.

Nvidia 1070 to Nvidia 3050 RTX
Driver updated to latest version. No error message.
Used DDI to install new driver.
Checked files on steam
When I launch MSFX under steam nothing happens.

Have you tried launching the sim directly without opening Steam first? It’ll still open Steam as required to play automatically. That’s the way I do it.

Yes I do without opening Steam. Nothing…

Open Explorer
Goto “C:\Users[YOUR_USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator
Rename “UserCfg.opt
Start the sim

I would try starting the event viewer, then try to start the sim, then go back and see if any errors pop up. And I do mean any errors. I had a sim crashing problem once that was caused by another program crashing in the background, and that’s how I discovered it. If you see any errors, start researching them for clues. See this thread for more info.
