Unable to Open the Cargo Doors of the B747 Freighter in FS2024. Cant find Door Open Option in EFB

Hello ,

What is the Trick to Open the right side Cargo Doors of the B747-8F in FS2024 ?

I cant find the Option on the FS EFB and i cant find in Cockpit an B747 own EFB .

What i find out too is that the GSX Pro Configuration for the 7478F is not correct .

I’m not near the sim right now so I cannot provide screenshots but the control for the nose cargo door is in the CDU. Look on the INDEX page, find SETTINGS, and then it should be in/around there.

The Nose Cargo Door ist working .

But the right sided Cargo Doors are the Problem .

Ah, for those I think you would need some external application that directly controls the sim variables. The sim does not offer any native way to control the doors on most aircraft, unfortunately.

The freighter doors won’t open SU4, but they’ve been fixed in the SU5 Beta.

Does anybody knows how to open the side Cargo Doors of the Asosbo B747 Frighter Version .
Some told me that after SU5 it should be possible .

To open the left cargo door, there is a spot right behind the left jumpseat:

For the others cargo doors, you need to go in walkaround mode, there is a click spot to open it:

How to Open the Fwd Passenger Door ?

I can’t find any spot to open it. There is one behind the right jump seat (incorrectly named “left” instead of “right”) but it opens the right cargo door and not the passenger one. I would say this is an issue. This click spot should linked to the fwd passenger door instead and be renamed. The cargo door should keep its own click spot from outside. Feel free to create a report un the Bug Reporting Hub > Aircraft & Systems.

I appreciate showing where the buttons are. However, even though I enjoy raising the nose, IRL it is loadmasters who operate the cargo doors, not the flight crew. But I know, that’s part of the fun of not being IRL for some. Happy flying!

I noted in the SU5 changelog

747-8F: Added openable main entry and cargo doors.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to open any doors beyond the nose cargo door in the FMS settings. Can anyone please tell me what I’m missing here?
