But you did just post in the #gd-commsupport:general-discussion Section. This thread proves it. You may have tried to post one level up in #gd-commsupport which wouldn’t be available to normal members, because it encompasses two main sub-forums and is intended to only be an umbrella forum.
Try clicking on All Categories (as seen in the screenshot below) and you will see all the available subforums that you can post to. Just be sure to check the Pinned Post in each to understand what is expected to be posted therein.
You can’t post in the root categories, or in #msfs:news-and-announcements, #msfs:official-feedback, #msfs:official-tips-troubleshooting. #su14-beta:beta-news, #gd-commsupport:product-announcements, Bug Reporting Hub > Resolved, Alpha/Beta Archive, Archives.
The root categories are #msfs su14-beta #gd-commsupport or Bug Reporting Hub
