I am unable to zoom in or out of the world map. I have a trackball - not a standard mouse.

Reset your mouse profile to default.
It is set at default, but as I said, I do not have a standard mouse, but a Trackball. That is the problem/

Just for fun, as an experiment have you tried resetting the profile. I know it’s a trackball but it’s the same issue people have reporting with mice since SU7 and the fix is resetting the profile.
Might be worth a shot just to see even though it’s a trackball.
