With thanks to @HXArdito for bringing this scenery to my attention in another thread. I like to think I stay on top of MSFS airports but this one totally slipped me! It’s never had its own dedicated thread and it’s been updated this week, so no better time to create one.
For a five-year-old airport, it looks impressive. No details re what’s just been updated but if I had to guess, it’s been made FS2024 compatible or even native.
Nice surprise, I really liked that airport in 2020. Unknown developer but LJLJ was great. And is a nice location as well, I think the city has become photogrammetry in the meantime.
And thanks for your threads by the way, well organized and good to keep track of new releases.
As far as I can tell, it’s never been on sale so I might have to pick it up. It’s not listed as being updated this week on the Marketplace blog but FSaddon claims it was updated today, and on Simmarket, it is marked as 2024 compatible. When scenery is simply updated for compatibility, it doesn’t get flagged in the weekly blog. I’ll have a rummage through the MP in a bit, see if it’s there…
It’s one of the airports I own on MP, but I can’t check now because I’m in the middle of a flight But last time I checked it was tagged as MSFS2020 addon and it was streamed to MSFS2024.
I can’t sea any update on the simmarket Scenic routes LJLJ scenery… Also on their discord is no activity, only a person who said two weeks ago that the discord was created by a person who is not involved anymore… That person also created LJLJ… But no news about an update or a fix for the textures…
Can anyone link the fsadon post or a proof of update?
It was definitely showing in the 2024 MP last time I checked. I keep a list of my purchased airports and marked LJLJ as compatible with 2024. That means at one point I loaded the airport and made a quick visual check if things look ok in MSFS2024.
Ok nice, if you would like to do it, i will wait a bit. There were problems with textures. There was a flightsim.to mod to resolve this but it doesn’t work in msfs2024 for me.
Okay, thanks, folks. It appears to be cheaper at MP so if the worst comes to the worst, I can briefly reinstall FS2020 in order to nab it. I am concerned about the apparent lack of support from the dev, though…
