Today I noticed that I have about 32000 reward points from Microsoft… I was wondering if would be possible to redeem 3 Microsoft gift card by 10 €; to purchase an add-on from the msfs marketplace. Thank you!

Microsoft Rewards also allows for the option to automatically redeem a certain amount of points (around 8000, I think?) for a $10 MS gift card on the first of every month. You can either spend them or let them accumulate. They are redeemed only if there are enough points to cover it. Any gift cards will show in the Marketplace when you check out, with remaining balances applied to your regular payment method.
I did this and it is not advised - rewards gift cards expire after 3 months, so wait till you want something and then redeem the cards. I once let them build up this way and I ended up loosing 20 quid in points when it came to buying something.
In the UK it’s 5 pound gift cards that can be “auto redeemed”.
Yes you can, but if I remember correctly, only with Microsoft Store version (or Xbox version), not with Steam.
Auto redeemed in “Euro-zone” is 5€ for 4500 pts (instead of 4650 pts).
Between Reward and Gamepass Quest, easy 10€ per month ^^
Yes I used MS Rewards to upgrade my Base Sim to Premium for free

Do you get points with the purchases made on MSFS Marketplace or they must be purchases made on MS Store directly (so other items outside game´s Marketplace)?

I am bit confused about procedure for redemption of points for purchases made on MSFS Marketplace.Each time I make a purchase some credit points are earned.I have never made a purchase through MS Store but always through Marketplace.
1/ How can I check worth of my credit points.
2/ How I can redeem those for purchasing additional add-ons from Marketplace.
I am on Xbox X series.
In case of my Marketplace purchases rewards are called Flight Sim Credits.
In the Rewards app, you “Redeem” points for XBox game cards. That puts a balance on your account.
When you go to check out, it will allow you to select Account Balance as a payment source.
Your balance is in the Rewards app, but on XBox, it also is shows on the Home screen in the upper left corner next to your achievement points.

On a web browser, go to https://rewards.microsoft.com
Log in with your MS account and you can see your point total, other things you can do to earn rewards, and you can redeem points.
Those flight sim points have nothing to do with MS points. I hope they’ll go away with FS24. They’re a weird FS-specific thing that just serve to confuse Marketplace purchasers.

Redeeming points seems fairly straight-forward but I want to be sure on a couple of points…

I’m offered both Xbox and Microsoft gift cards. The MS gift card will only allow me to redeem £1.25 (1,705 points), whereas the Xbox examples are either £5, £10 or £25. I take it the Xbox gift cards are fine for Marketplace purchases?

I can redeem or auto-redeem 5,890 points for a £5 Xbox gift card on the MS Rewards site… however in the Xbox desktop app, it says I can auto-redeem £5 using just 5,420 points. I’ve tried to set up auto-redeem and it simply said the gift card is registered with my account and I’ll receive a confirmation email “within 24 hours”. However 24 hours have passed and I’ve received no email to confirm or deny the gift card. Is this feature broken?
