Variants and liveries problems when we return to the simulator

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:

  • The variant changes when we restart the simulator.
  • The livery changes when we restart the simulator.
  • If we choose a variant and then a livery, changing the variant requires us to select the livery again. The livery should only change if it doesn’t exist for the chosen variant.
  • If we start a free flight without selecting a livery, the flight begins with a random livery.
  • It is extremely frustrating that every time we start a free flight, the variant and livery are not the ones we selected the last time we exited the simulator.
  • In the Cessna 172, the cargo variant (classic) appears on the airplane page as if it were using G1000 instruments.
  • Please separe Cessna 172 Classic from the Cessna 172 G1000

• Additionally, we would like the option to remove any other aircraft from our list either via a Content Manager Enable/Disable aircraft. There’s no point having the aircraft appearing on our list for those aircraft that we never interested to fly on.

Some recommendations when creating a bug report:

  • prior to open it, search for any existing report. If one exists, participate there to avoid duplicates
  • only 1 issue per report

Regarding:

You can participate to the existing report: Aircraft variant and livery setting is not saved between sessions. (it did in 2020)

For the other points reports, some reports may already exist in the Bug Reporting Hub or the Official Microsoft Flight Simulator > Wishlist .
