What you have is called a “twist grip” joystick. If you twist the stick left or right that is your rudder. Check with this forum thread with other V1 Flight stick users, they can be a lot of help.
As well you can “search by input” in the controls menu. Click that search bar and twist the joystick one way and it will show you what it is mapped to.
Sounds like your rudder is not mapped. Or you’re not in the correct profile for the controller. Make sure it’s not in “rudder mode” on the stick that is for use with pedals… hmmm sounds like a tricky one. I would create a new controller profile and try to add rudder inputs on an axis manually.
Yup control options. And on the left side of that page you will see different search bars. One for finding an option by typing a term like rudders or aileron. And one search bar for map by input, where you click and then make an input on the stick and it shows you what is mapped to.
On the top of the page is the controller profiles you can switch. As well you can create a new profile or copy one to work from.
Maybe watch a YouTube video on controller profiles and mapping. I’m sure there is one out there.
Does anyone map the speed break to one of the axis sliders, trying to work out if its possible and how to do it, as in arming the speed break as well increasing/decreasing when needed.
