VelocityOne Flight Universal Control System - Turtle Beach

They can:

Have you tried setting a custom profile in Options > Control Options? I’ll be putting out a video about how to do this soon.

Anybody got good sensitivity settings to be honest default not bad find elevator a bit sticky when use so rely mostly on trim .just saw on another thread 15 to 20 hrs to bed in not quite there yet must be getting close.

I got mine last week and I must sat well done, it’s well built definatly more tool than toy.
How ever I’m on xbox sx and am having a few issues but maybe it’s the sum not the vf1.
I cannot save any layout changes which is annoying as spend 30mins setting it up every time I want to flu which is a pain plus I cannot use any autopilot functions as for some reason it increases values automatically as if I was setting every input to maximum eg ap altitude, vs, heading and course?
Any work around for this on xbox?

Also will the TB update site be available through Microsoft store on xbox or do I have to steal the wife’s laptop to download any updates?

Download Turtle Beach Control Center on your XBOX to do firmware updates right on your XBOX. No PC required.

Anyone try to buy one yesterday? I hit refresh at 9:00AM PST exactly and was able to add it to my cart. It was gone literally 30 seconds later after I did my payment method (card already loaded) and the purchase was cancelled. :slightly_frowning_face:

Yes, the exact same thing happened to me. My account was logged in, so literally all I had to do was enter my CC number. All told it was under 20 sec from the time I added the unit to my cart until it went ‘out of stock’ again. At those speeds it has to be people using bots to purchase. I emailed TB sales, and while they actually replied, they insisted that no bots are involved. Yet they have no answer to why they won’t implement a simple cart protection to prevent exactly this situation.

I hope they restock soon. Hopefully they can implement some kind of control. For the Xbox and PlayStation consoles, I believe once you’ve added it to your cart, you have 10 minutes or so to make the purchase before you lose the item from your cart. I know many ticket sales for concerts and sporting events are similar.

Scalpers just make me angry. A plague on them.

The Yoke is on eBay for over $600…

Yeah. No. I’ll wait.

I emailed TB as well and they said 26K people were in line to buy them. I asked when supply would meet demand and they couldn’t give me a straight answer. Not getting my hopes up to have one before January tbh.

Maybe there were 26k people waiting on Monday. But there’s 0.0% chance they sold out in <30 seconds without bots being involved. Not unless the restock was like 100 units. They KNOW it’s an issue, and not a hard one to deal with, but they don’t care. It’s not difficult to institute a queue system, or protect shopping carts for 3 min.

why don’t put a max purchase number of say 4 units?

the automatic increase of some values that are selected depends on the key assignment of RT and LT. Look in the control options under the profile. I simply left out the relevant entries in a new profile.

James…I have been using the Velocity One Yoke for a week now. The only issue I am experiencing is the elevator trim wheel. If I barely move the wheel up or down the aircraft im flying jumps up or down respectively at a very abrupt manner. I dont think it is the yoke, I think there is something in fs2020 that is causing this. I hope to hear from you about this. I have tried adjusting the sensitivities but this did not resolve the problem Im experiencing with the trim. Ailerons and elevator controls are smooth as silk. Its just the elevator trim that is the problem.

Outside of scalpers who would actually NEED 4 units?

Max purchase could easily be 1 per credit card number per week.

It’s not actually hard.

Hi All,

New Member here, picked up the V1 a couple of weeks back and just getting round to seeing up on the Xbox S, I know it comes with pre commands (Default, Twin and Single Prop) but has anyone found a custom setup that works better (re-assigning buttons etc)

If not I will run with the ones already saved on the V1

Thanks,
Tom

I had a similar issue. I resolved it by turning off auto-trim in the assistance options.

Yes they can. But where to install the throttle, once separated ? If you have an “arm” coming from the Yoke, on wich you would be able to install the throttle, then you would not need to have a separate table/stand for the yoke and the throttle.

For people who now own the Velocity One, about the throttle : it seems that you can detach it from the yoke, but under the throttle, is there something to help you to install it alone on a table/stand ? Is there brackets or screws or anything else to help you to install it ?

There are screwholes on the underneath of the throttle quadrant.

No additional desk clamps or anything for it.
