Meh…VR Touch Controls are janky for now.
I don’t bother with them. I still rely on most of my major control surface/avionics systems controls to be mapped to my HOTAS/CH Eclipse combo setup.
With the CH Eclipse and HOTAS combined I have about 35 buttons of real estate to map cockpit buttons to.

f you throw out the electronics and replace them with a Leoboard or Arduino, for example, and only take the mechanical part (throttle + stick), it’s actually a lot of fun. Ok, then ForceFeedback is gone. So, a defective set is a good base for handicrafts. I still have my G940 Throttle modified with hall sensors and just like it.

I’ve actually always loved the look of the dual lever G940 throttle.
Now looking back at the G940…the little FFB rumble wouldn’t really mean much as far as immersion anyway. Would probably be some nice little taxi/runway friction vibrations, but a full motion sim setup would satisfy the FFB itch.
