I don’t think the VL3, even with out mod, is setup to fly at night. There’s no real cockpit lighting aside from the flash light which you’ve got turned on in your pic. It’s possible that the workingtitle team will have some sort of dimming capabilities within the G3X at some point… but that’s just my guess…nothing confirmed.

Yup, for some reason I haven’t figured out, it does indeed seem (at least in some cases) you need the original UWA mod files, despite them being set up the exact same way. Maybe one of these days I’ll get enough time to fix it, assuming my brain is up to the task.

Lovely aeroplane but boy is it twitchy. I guess it is IRL being so small and yet so nippy.
Not sure why, but this mod puts me in the right seat and will not allow me to move to the left seat.
My key binds for transition up/down, left/right, and forward/backward are still there, but none of them work in this aircraft.
I removed all other mods and even tried cold and dark and starting on the runway. Can’t get out of the right seat.
I just tested the default/included VL3 ( the non-modded version ) and I have the same issue, so it might not be related to this mod.
RESOLVED
Not sure what caused the issue, no, wait a minute that’s not right. I’m running Windows. Rebooting cures most problems and it cured this one as well. Go figure.
Quick thing… Does this one show up as a separate aircraft much like Savage Carbon does or does it replace the default?

G3X mod without the VL3 mod… If I fly the stock VL3, the G3X mod is still active which is very nice. I’d like to have the EFIS on the PFD in the stock plane as well. Is there an easy way to do that?

Does anyone know a resource for a VL3-915 POH? Or at least some speeds like Vr and Vapp?
There’s some speeds on the placard by fuel selector. With 80 % power I’ll climb at 120-130 kias
Rotation…kinda just leaps off the ground almost as soon as you apply takeoff power (also on placard).
I’ll have to look up cruise speeds and fuel burn. If I recall it’s around 170 ktas at 10k ft
Final approach speed I just do top of the white arc…cause the thing goes so slow.
I am having real issues in with the latest VL3 915 mod am not able to raise or lower landing gear sometimes would get stuck mid way through.
Also my Garmin displays are flicking rather badly does anybody have an idea what could be going wrong the garmins are almost switching themselfs off !!!
I have this same question. Is it possible to see the engine information on the Pilot’s display? I can only see that on the co-pilot’s screen. Thanks in advance.

One of the liveries might have the kmh analogue scale… I don’t remember though.

So, these values are acutally correct for the 915 engine? Max speed with flaps is 67 kn? I find that hard during take off.
