I won’t be checking this deeply in future as it will soon become impossible - just in this early stage I want to see how it is being used, if my instructions were clear enough (and that no-one is CHEATING!

Under Military we must add the iconic Mosquito. Sadly currently missing from the MSFS line up. Hopefully it will be picked up by someone like FI who could do it justice.

Yeah I was thinking the same - Kodiak, Tecnam and Piper M500 are HARDLY “ICONIC”

Both FSS Tecnams P2012 and P2006 should be on the list
This is NOT about MSFS planes. This is about REAL aircraft. I don’t think FSS made the REAL thing (that would more likely be Tecnam themselves). Are you sure you are getting the point of this topic?

I mean… The 2006 and 2012 are more ICONIC than a Spitfire, or Concorde? Or literally anything else already listed? Confused

I asked my wife last night what she considered to be iconic aircraft - she has absolutely no interest in aviation.
Concorde and Spitfire were her reply.
Well, there ya go! Not criticising anybody else’s opinions, no way, but I can’t help but wonder if the best answers wouldn’t come from those with no aviation interest?

I’m sure it wasn’t easy to come up with all of them. Great work! There are just too many cool airplanes that have been built over the years. I even thought of a couple more that are fantastic (not voting for these, my answers are locked in lol), Howard 500 is an iconic business aircraft, Lockheed Jetstar I would classify as iconic, F-104 and X-15 for military. Just in case anyone needs ideas.
