I find myself using my PSVR2 over my Quest 3 more and more these days. While it has the lower resolution than my Q3 much more vibrant OLED colors just bring VR’s native stereoscopic 3D more to life.
VR is too annoying for me. With the Quest I have to open the debug tool every time and change the values as it doesn’t seem to save it. Also, you can’t just plug in your headset while playing and just switch to VR. No, you have to exit MSFS and restart it which takes forever.
Weird, you don’t need to do that with other headsets at least. I can switch between 2D and VR anytime in the sim without needing to restart ?
100% VR and Quest 3 user here:
I switch between 2D and VR also anytime without any application restarts, without performance issues. Anytime. It’s great.
If you are not a Virtual Desktop user:
Try the Oculus tray tool instead the debug tool. The OTT is saving your settings.
The ODT is - primarily in my opinion for application/software developer/testing. Yes, it works but without saving your settings.
Have fun.
