So we got a fix mentioned regarding this issue in the patch notes for SU4 beta 1.6.3.0
Fixed cockpit LoDs which were unaffected by VR lod factor.
Had a chance to test a number of stock aircraft in the sim where I noticed these issues.
Unfortunately it only seems like a partial fix at the moment. It seems to have fixed geometry related issues which is great. Aircraft like the CJ4 and A321 have less issues now.
However issues still remain with the textures for text or lights disappearing on buttons around the cockpit unless you move closer.
This issue is easily visible on the FMS keypad text in the 787, 747, A320. Even in the default sitting position text is not appearing correctly.
