VR - retain position of in-game panels between flights

Each time I use VR in MSFS the in-game panels (e.g. ATC, VFR map, Navigraph, BATC) I had open the prior time are open again - this is great and desirable. However, the placement of these panels is reset to a default position (mostly right in front of me and overlaying each other). This is very annoying as I then have to spend time re-sizing them and re-positioning them (e.g. Navigraph down on the pilots knees).
I would like MSFS to retain the position/placement of the in-game panels at all times.

I think what you are reporting also happens in non VR (2D) and existing wish could cover your request:

I currently pop out my PFD and display it on a second monitor maximized. The issue is that I have to do this every single time I start a flight. It would be very nice if there was a way to remember the popout location and size on a per-aircraft basis so that when you start a new flight the screen will be popped out and positioned automatically as opposed to have to do it manually every single time.

You are correct that MSFS does not remember popped out panels but as my request is for VR experience, popped out panels are not relevant to my request. I do support the other request though.

This seems to finally be a thing in SU5 currently. Can someone else confirm? I tested SU5 briefly but had to drop out - but the panels seemed to remember their position between flights in SU5.

Most panels are working, except the EFB, still opening at the center…
