Was yesterday MSFS 2020 receiving an update too?

Wow, thanks Asobo. FS 2024 is paying dividends - for FS 2020 at least!

So, was there really a scenery update for MSFS 2020?

There were no recent updates to 2020. Next programmed update is SU16 in Q1-25.

Maybe there wasn’t an update, but I really like the new opening cinematics now. Not sure how long that’s been there, but it looks fantastic like the opening cinematics in 2024.

Hi Casual - I wrote the post at Avsim. The night lighting Sepia mask is definitely different. There was no update client side. Last time I used FS 2020 was last Sunday and I did not see that effect. Can you confirm or did I simply have too many Blanton Burbons? :face_with_spiral_eyes:

If there was an update, the version number of the sim would have incremented. Check the version you have now and compare to the Official Versions as noted in the screenshot below.

Apart from that, it’s still nice that MSFS 2020 still provides"something new* in each session.

There were no updates to Kitty Hawk (FS2020) period.
