As soon as I started my first flight it was painfully obvious that the graphics were severely degraded compared to SU4. The specific issue is that the rendering is far too bright resulting in a washed out view everywhere. 2 specific cases: Sat in cockpit at EGLC - raining, drops on screen - switc…

It is more than just exposure. All the detail in the dark bits and light bits is missing. That is what gives it that anime/fantasy game look where you expect some guy in chain mail with a greatsword or some Kogal anime girl with long legs and big eyes to work around the corner of the terminal any …

Can you make a screenshot pointing at details of what you mean? I recommend using Lightshot screenshot tool for that, you can draw arrows. Cuz for me it looks quite nice honestly other than the exposed bits. (alltho the sunrise sunset looks apocalyptic sometimes which is weird, other than that it’…

Screenshots and videos tend to be pointless people just post “I do not get that in my game” or “that looks fine to me” or argue that it is your PC settings or the time of day or something.. It’s basically impossible to fix, although I’d be interested to know what the like 3 people in the world with a 1000 nit monitor are seeing! You can use the nvidia tool to reduce the contrast a bit to bring the details back in the clouds, but you need to adjust every time the lighting changes, so n…

Changing the colour grading in the configuration file ruins the world map by making the daylight ground white.

[image] HDsharks: It’s basically impossible to fix, although I’d be interested to know what the like 3 people in the world with a 1000 nit monitor are seeing! I use a fully calibrated 1000 nit HDR 4K QLED screen as my main monitor and after trying SU5 yesterday it looks phenomenal! The HDR w…
