Hi there,
today, when launcing the sim, I was presented a weird screen …
As you can see in the attached screenshot, it seems that the app does not render the right resolution …I can only see the upper left side and there is no way to move the screen … I have a QHD monitor 2560x1440p, but in the sim graphic setting I selected the 3840x2160p resolution, having activated the DSR factor in the NVIDIA driver panel, and everything went smooth so far.
Actually, in the past this same weird behavour occurred after the sim update, and I was able to fix it by editing the cfg.opt file and typing in the native resolution in both the proper lines.
Do you have any idea about what would cause such a weird behaviour ?
If so, what do you suggest to prevent it from happening again ?
Ciao Beech23,
yes it is obviously possible this is a problem on my side, but I have not the slightest idea about what could be the reason for such a weird behaviour.
So I did post in the hope that somebody who experienced something similar could help.
I use the sim in a decent PC (windows 11 pro, i5 12600k, RTX 3060 12gb, 32 GB RAM and SSD 1TB 4th gen), and this is the only issue I got.
BTW I have the very last NVIDIA driver
It is clear that there must be something wrong on my side …
I have made an attempt, reinstalling the old NVIDIA driver (536.23) that I am sure it worked fine, but the problem is still there …
And from bad to worse, I wanted to practice a landing into EDDF with the B747, but the sim is stuck on the screen when it loads the scenery by more than 20 minutes …
Too bad …I do not know what to do
