What should be my next purchase and are there any in this category that I might have missed..
I’m looking at a new aircraft to buy.. Im not sure what one to get and have ranked them in order but if you guys have some logically different mindset and can convince me otherwise…
I’m all ears..
I just copied and pasted my list from notes and the numbers are just a reference on price…
But all in all what one of these really excells and what would give me something regarding a different experience and something different and I guess a challenge to learn..
I currently have the 737-700/800 777-300, fss 727F, bae146, the fenix family, CRJ, ATR, Dc6 and the A300…
1 pmdg 772 58
2 f70/100 56 ish (when it comes out)
3 727 pass 20
4 A359 59
5 757 50ish (when it comes out)
6 md11 54
7 E195 40
8 77F 54
9 md80 60
10 E175 40
11 F28 38/50
12 RJ85etc 52
13 739 49
14 Dc 9
Can’t get enough of the F28 at the moment…
I’ve heard good things about the MD80, only some of the graphics are a cut and paste image (nothing major just little things around the airless) which looks ok from a distance but not up close. This doesn’t take away anything if you don’t care about that and just want to fly.
I’m waiting for the Bluebird 757 personally
739 49 if you can find one. I would like to see the constellation in action in 2024
The A350 is available now and after a dozen patches is really very good. Looks great. They did some innovative things with Simbrief and GSX integration. Does benefit from a better PC.
Would give you a widebody Airbus. Comes with 3 variants and interior cabins. I don’t both with the cabins but I know some people care about those.
That and the Synaptic A220
If you want something now, the F28.

I’m flying the Just Flight Avro RJ-100 Professional right this moment, so I’m biased in that direction.
Since you already have the BaE146 (which I don’t have but have considered), the RJ is more automated version, but still challenging. If you feel like you’re mastered the 146, then this will be a fairly easy transition. Super well modeled, great sounds, etc.
Second choice would be the MD11. Quirky plane, mix of Airbus and Boeing, and the most difficult plane I own to land.
I’d caution you slightly on the Ejets…Seems like they’ve run into delays in updating it (VNAV, FMS). I’m personally waiting on that one before purchasing. I
Also eagerly awaiting the BB 757, mainly for cargo ops.
I would say it depends. If you’re into something retro, the F28 is in both sims, and the 146 should be in 2024 sometime in July, and they are both superb and fun. But I also love the MD-11 more every time I fly it. It’s relatively modern, without being Boeing or Airbus, and it’s big and fun. The down side is that official 2024 compatibility is some time off, so while I’m having a blast with it in 2024 now, any update could just plain break it.

Scratch the DC9, it needs more polish yet, all the rest that are already available are excellent.
Narrow your choices by determining whether you like long haul or regional flights.

Well, it is free, but you might try the 787. I think it has the best autopilot and VNAV. Note the profile view with step downs and mountains shown. Plan comes directly out of MS FlightPlanner.
The new liveries are paid but worth it in 4K.
The 787 is included in the deluxe versions of FS202x, as a slight caveat. I agree, it’s quite good for a default plane.
My goto plane as the AP and flight planning are so simple. I have a Commercial license and am long ago fed up with twisting dials… has been suggested I try the 777.

Thanks heaps for the replies.
So I’ve decided to get the 772 as while I’m traveling, it was easier to already know the plane along with the 772 still being common with many real world routes but also seeing rapid replacment and I’m very happy with it!!
I thought having the 773 it would be same same but different but it is a nice aircraft, and it definitely feels and sounds different OMg those RR engines sound great..
i also tried getting the md11 while there are still a few real world routes with fedex and ups but the purchase wouldn’t go through.
A couple did say this was a good plane so I’m definitely going to try again.
So this is my updated list.
Many did recommend the F28 and i do want the F28 and have had it in my cart many times.. each time ironically, JF would post an F100/70 update..
I love the BAe flying and I know I’d absolutely love the F28 and many replies have suggested getting it.
Question..
Had the F28 came out at the same time as the f70/100 would you guys still gotten the F28?
The 757 and F100 would be definitely day one purchases as both are still flying but will definitely be gone from most airlines fleets once their replacements come on line and its always nice to fly real current world routes.
1 md11 54 (before they retire)
1st equal F70/100 56 ish (qantas)
3 757/767 58 (while still flying)
4 727 20 (retired)
5 md80 60 (retired)
6 Nexgen Saab 340
7 77F 54 (will be common)
8 A359 59 (new and common)
9 ERJ 145 (before they retire)
10 milviz C130 40
11 RJ85 52
12 739 49
13 F28 50
14 E195 40 (UL vnav done)
15 Dc 9 45
16 E175 40 (UL Vnav is complete)
I would definitely have gotten the F28 if it released a ound the same time as the F70/F100. While I’m looking forward to those, I was sold in the F28 from the first time I saw someone stream it. I love the vibe, and it’s definitely one of my favorite planes in my hangar.

I opted for the 727 in the passenger variant-very happy getting it going from cold and dark.
