I fly almost exclusively GA. My top three planes are:
If Iâm in the mood for something faster, I quite like the IndiaFoxtrotEcho MB-339 and of course the F/A-18 Super Hornet.
Pfew, most often is a hard task as it changes constantly!
Right now:
Recently Iâve been mostly flying:
Which reminds me, I havenât taken a fast jet out for too long! Enjoying my low ânâ slow stuff too much.
If I could only have 5 planes, I think it would have to be:

I donât understand why the moderator merged âWhat aircraft do you use most often?â into this thread. They are two different questions, each originating from different contexts.
Oh, yes, good point. My answer was for the âmost oftenâ but I seem to have covered the other topic with the 2nd list! Donât think it should have been merged.
I like the WT CJ4 and the C172 Classic. I also like all the planes from the Reno Air Races pack.

I love modern regional aircraft and I love anything from the 1980âs to 1990âs because I actually think itâs awesome that they were able to build it with the computers of that time is truly incredible
the Boeing 747 200 and SPâs are two of my favorites because we have so many modern airliners itâs fun going to the classicâs
the Boeing 737 300 is my favorite 737 variant with how many airlines used to fly them
The only difference between then (and even before computers even existed) and now is the fact that advanced computer modelling can better predict performance of a design before any prototype is built. Think about things like the B-36 Peacemaker. That was once the largest plane in the US military inventory, and it was built with three basic tools - pencil, paper, and a slide rule. I challenge any aircraft engineer to build and fly something like that today with the same tools.
Iâm a very simple person
