I’m not sure whether I’m sad or angry, probably both, saved for ages to get the best PC I could for this sim, and it’s just got worse and worse and worse with every update.

I miss the near 50 fps and no pop in I was getting last year at launch.
yep, i’ve never had a single issue with performance, now we just have way too much fps and nowhere near the detail and graphical quality we used to have
Makes me want to stop the glacial download and leave the sim altogether. After watching the devs smugly promising us the world on Twitch last week it makes me really angry. I’ll be honest I was expecting this sort of result but I was still naively hoping. I suppose at the end of the day they’ve got our money and the fanbois make enough squee to drown out the complaints to ensure another payday today courtesy of the XBox brigade but really this is not good enough. I just wish there was some way we could register our disappointment financially.

couldn’t agree more, I’ve been sat here all day waiting to see trees to the horizon, finally get it downloaded and all I see is the same circle of trees round me, only worse now because everything is just popping in
Let it settle down, Asobo aren’t going away and will react to your feedback … and if it’s genuinely that bad we may well end up with two versions or an extreme level just for PC.
Some people are so melodramatic.

I’ve never understood the fixation with fps. Once you get above 30 the visible improvement in a flight sim is somewhere between negligible and zero. I suppose the kids just equate fps with performance. Well be careful what you wish for or you will end up with what you deserve.

As far as I can remember the only thing they reacted to was removing the “press any key” option and that took over 6 months. Everything else has been the systematic addition of fluff.

Oh OK then … we all know they just sit around playing cards and drinking beer.
They’ve been BUSY - especially with Xbox but you know the score, business comes first. Maybe now we’ll get all the improvements and fixes at a faster rate.
