What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

is that even possible in an A320 ?? not judging, just asking

Yes and no. Canada is out of range, but if the screenshots are any indication, he actually landed in Anchorage, which is just within range especially from Kushiro that is in Hokkaido, almost as close to Alaska as you can get in Japan.

Not that there are any international flights from Kushiro… but I’m not judging either :joy:

Today’s leg in the Bandeirante was kind of rushed without much sightseeing along the way because I was excited to get to Vero Beach (headquarters of Piper) to take ownership of my Seneca V and do some familiarization flights in it before having it ferried off to my home base while I continue the tour. :grinning:

Another beautiful sunrise takeoff, this time from Savannah, Georgia.

An interesting formation of rivers welcomes us into Florida.

More barrier islands full of expensive real estate.

And finally landing at Vero Beach Regional.

After getting some rest and a late lunch, I picked up my Seneca and took it on a short IFR trip to Titusville and back. It was nice having the autopilot controls up where I could easily reach them, instead of down behind the throttles and trim wheels like the Bandeirante (which admittedly wasn’t designed for single-pilot operations) as well as a working weather radar.

Tomorrow some other lucky person will ferry this beautiful piston twin back to my home base for me, while my passengers and I continue our tour in the Bandeirante.

The newly-weds wanted to find a nice place for a picnic and although it looked like a really exclusive and beatiful location, they weren’t sure it would meet the country’s social-distancing regulations.

I continued my trip around Australia in C172. Today from Rockhampton (YBRK) to Townsville (YBTL). After short break and refueling I was hoping to get to Mareeba (YMBA). However, weather was not friendly and I was forced to stop in Tully (YTUY).

As I go further and further south on this tour, the sun rises later and later and it becomes more challenging to fit these trips into my schedule, but I’ll keep trying my best. Today’s leg was fairly short, Vero Beach to Palm Beach, to allow more sightseeing time.

Climbing out and who do I see… Was that really you @GotGravel ? I thought about intercepting, but with my luck he’d be in the Vertigo and I’d never catch up.

I found a major highway to follow, and decided that would be more interesting than following more barrier islands.

Finally sighted some city buildings and took a closer look before landing at Palm Beach County Park.

I started my first bush trip, the Nevada one. It was a lot of fun planning the flight in Google Maps with the nav log and flying up the Kern river valley - especially as we drove the same route a few years back in the other direction on our US road trip.

I made it to Inyokern airport without issue, but wasn’t used to a taildragger and it nosed over on braking. On the second try MSFS froze and crashed just before touchdown. Third try I braked much more gently but still tipped over on the plane’s nose.
Fourth try I pratctically ddid’t brake at all and managed to complete this first leg. Had to take a break then to get my heart rate down.

This planes is great to fly but landing takes some getting used to.

Flew from Florence OR municipal to Gold Beach OR municipal. Flying along the Oregon coast (continuation of my West coast fly in the Cessna).

Created a flight plan for later (will have screen shots) for my Airbus320 flight from Austin TX (AUS) to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR).

Removed MSFS2020 and reinstalled FSX and loving it. I bought the PMDG B772 & 300. Frame rate is through the roof. Have it set to unlimited and was running 100 to 130 FPS. Even though I really never had issues with MSFS2020. I’m waiting several months until the PMDG planes start arriving.

Change of pace and flew a “six pack” and rediscovering the eccentricities of the KAP-140. Happiness is always a good glide slope on final into Peachtree-DeKalb.
