Some fictional day time checks before a night flight later of my new CRJ 1000 from BGSF in Greenland, back to BIKF in Iceland.
Empty test flight ahead of taking passengers:
BGSF (Kangerlussuaq, Greenland) to BIKF (Keflavík, Iceland) and return
BGSF (Kangerlussuaq, Greenland) to PAFA (Fairbanks, Alaska) and return
All in Air Hauler 2, hoping for profitable routes, especially as the weather is challenging in that region.
After a super late night flight from Mumbai to Visakapatnam last night doing some flight planning for the leg into Bangkok with the delta crj 900 today
I tried to fly the FBW A320NX from KRDU to KMEM. I did it twice but on both flights I experienced a CTD exactly 1 hour from spawning in at the origin airport. It’s been many flights since my last CTD. Very frustrating.
IFR KBID to KPNE - stayed over the scud for the most part, but the approach was hairy - I didn’t break out the rabbit lights until just a few seconds after the “500” annunciation. Nice views of the ground when the cover broke.
Fought with spectrum for 2 days now, they are now actually sending a free tech out to inspect the outside of the wire ($50 my but), of course this is after I downgrade my service from ultra LOL … So just waitng on the tech to arrive *(wend) so I can show him how horrible the connection is, and if he fixes it, maybe I’ll re ugrade to ultra Bwhahahah…Oh pics, later there on the other install…

Lined up all my allied airfields in the Solomons to have some opportunity to do take-offs and landings in the Corsair. Take-offs are better, but still have wobbly landings. Weather was spectacular. AGGN MUD GOMEN AGGS GGYSM AGGH

Yesterday I flew up the southern Spanish coast from Gibraltar to Almeria, clear skies and light winds. Took in the Sierra Nevada en route in the C208b Caravan, very pleasant.
Landed at East Mids UK, then programmed flight to Manchester but unfortunately CTD during the climb… so off to do something else.
Doing a fly by at Pearl Harbor today in memory of those who lost their life that day. Salute🇺🇸
I flew from Diagoras to Santorini in the A320. It was a pleasant flight with the weather on. I then flew from Santorini to Athens. I encountered a glitched waypoint, which caused my plane to stay in a left turn. I engaged the “direct to” mode twice to deal with the problem. That was a total guess to try and fix things before giving up on the flight. Thankfully it worked, and I had a lovely ILS approach on runway 21L. I learned not to take things for granted with the flight plan!

Storm Barra flight.
Decent flight but altitude bug (again) when descending to FL190. Maybe the bug wasn’t ironed out just the tolerances for ATC to bug you are outside the scope of when pressure deviates by more than 20hPa from ISA.
Also no Runway lights when landing at Heathrow! Hit the deck harder than usual landing on unlit runway. No PAPI or runway centreline /extended centreline markings or runway edge. Zinnertek Enhanced Airport Graphics and Hibashi Autumn Season installed.
