I did a whole bunch of taxiing today after a quick hop outside of Orlando. I taxied the whole length of the the one runway checking out the ramps, and I didn’t see the guy. So I pulled into the big vacant lot at the end of the field, and down to far the corner to park it myself. Then I saw him! He was standing way out in a field by the tree line. I taxied off the ramp, there was a berm and a hill even. Not sure if he’s getting back at me for something, if I wound up in overflow parking like at a big event, or maybe he just thought it was a nice spot for a picnic.
Flight SIA983 Singapore Changi WSSS to Denpasar WADD with 787-10 in Singapore Airlines Livery
Here over the Java Sea…
Denpasar Approch
how did you managed to drew on Navigraph Charts?
Somewhere over West Virginia on my way to take the Kodiak home to New York from Ushaia. When I entered the US I could finally fly the way I love to, using Skyvector with VOR:s and ADF:s. No more magenta lines!
No pic, sorry, but I hopped into the PT-17 Stearman and flew entirely from the chase plane view in VR, take off and landing included. It’s a bit like gliding, without a glider. Tons of fun!
Ran off the runway on landing into some wet grass, and the wheels started spraying water! Nice touch.
i have the Navigraph app on my smartphone. so i just took a printscreen, and used the inbuild “paint” program of my phone. But if your asking about the “drawings” in pink and green highlight on the SID and STAR map, that is inbuild in the Navigraph app
Apopka, FL → Valkaria, FL with a tour of Cape Canaveral. I pulled out ForeFlight for this one and got a briefing to make sure there wasn’t a NOTAM activating the restricted airspace R-2934, but still did the flight without GPS/moving map and pilotage only.
Ducking under the Orlando class B and the Sanford class C was a snap with the terminal chart and this road:
Lots of decent looking photogrammetry in the area. I’ll probably come back with something lower and slower like the Stearman.
Over to Kennedy Space Center and flying over the massive 15,000 ft shuttle runway.
I was hoping to see the launchpads and Vehicle Assembly Building as POIs, but they’re not modeled or the sim wouldn’t load them at this distance.
Watch those trees on short on final at Valkaria:
Enjoyed the H145 over the beautiful Rio de Janeiro.
When I saw this out of the corner of my eye the 1st thing that came to mind was the cockpit in the movie Airplane, and then I saw what you did there as it were ;p
Flew from Corvalis Oregon NW and took a few of these:
Flew for an hour fps stayed pretty much the same got bored and landed here:
Absolutely love this (also welsh)
You should download the G1000 NXi mod.
Tried it I hated it. I like Little Nav Map better…
Oh really? What did you hate about it compared to the stock G1000?
It just didnt bring anything to the table that was useful info for me. Like I said I use LNM and it gives me more then enough info for VFR and Im sure IFR if I still did that.
I get it but I still don’t understand what the stock G1000 does better.
Nothing I dont use that either LOL…just LNM…Oh wait better, when there’s an update I dont have to worry if the add on is compatible…
Last night did a twin otter flight from Clovis to Santa Fe was hoping to fly over the Union Pacific yard their to find a train called the big boy but never found it I wish rail yards, so after I landed I flew around some old Microsoft Train Simulator routes in the spitfire thinking what would it look like if Asobo brought back train simulator using the flight simulator standards, I really wish they would do it
lol, I think it’s beyond our understanding time to fold on this one hehe
