What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

I flew the default 747 800 from Seattle to Chicago on my way to pickup the next around the world aircraft

More exploring in southern Chile. Found this cool little strip surrounded by mountains with a river winding around it. Had to land there after spotting it.

Decided to tidy up Avonmouth in the UK a bit by getting rid of the bad photogrammetry cranes and turbines, replacing them with proper models I have in the sim including some static ships. Looks a lot better I think. Photogrammetry messes up cranes quite badly.

Uninstalled it all. I’ll return when I’m able to go more than 5 minutes without it crashing or freezing. I really, really enjoyed it when it first came out on console, I just dont enjoy it anymore and that is so disappointing for me as I love aircraft.

Took a CJ4 from Cagliari Elmas Airport (LIEE), where I’m parked with my Turbo Arrow, and flew some imaginary passengers over to Geneva.

I’m not very good at IFR, so I was happy that I had clear skies.

An unusual place to be for a low altitude VFR pilot.

Did you crash through the roof when the plane stopped, or dont you have crash damage on. For me with it on I can land and taxi but as soon as I come to a complete stop, boom im in the structure below ;p

Depends on the building. Some you fall through, others like this will work. As long as you don’t hit any of the greebles you are good. I landed the 208 on the roof of one of the Chernobyl buildings.

Will have to try that next time Im out then, everything Ive landed on to date as soon as you stop, you get the message, though Ive managed a touch and go and survived that.

It didnt crash but it sunk a bit into the terminal roof.
I have damage OFF.

The roof (and the sunlight reflecting on it) looked very tempting to try a landing

Nish

Yeah roof landing is even better then carrier landing lol ;p

Flew an American Eagle CRJ 700 from OHare to Charlotte on my way to Bermuda to pick up the next around the world aircraft

Explored Melbourne in the H145 with the brand new Orbx City Pack, starting from Essendon Fields (YMEN), …

another Orbx DLC. Approaching Melbourne downtown, …

the stadiums, …

the docklands, …

and circling around …

and between the high-rise buildings:

A quick detour over the Yarra River and the Port of Melbourne …

and back to YMEN:

The combination of WU 7 PG and this city pack imho is amazing. I hope Orbx will iron out a few glitches (cranes floating in the air), but otherwise this is one of the best city experiences I’ve had in MSFS 2020 up to now.

re-installed the sim now it runs even worse YEA?

Finished rechecking everything for some reason raytracing was set to 0 so I changed it back to 1 and got these…fps is still kind of flakey:

Did another leg of my African trip, this time from Gode (HAGO) to Wilwal International (HAJJ)

Nice panorama view from FL222 doing M0.744

A Smooth landing

And shutdown

Sadly the piston aircraft on my left was not on by any means, the propeller “motion” is just a static picture. Quite off putting, I really wouldn’t mind if it was just about to leave.

A flight from Nantes to Figari, on an A320, following a real route.
If someone interested, I recommend this approach, the view is fantastic.

are the helipads just for decoration and landing or are they active (you can set up on them)?
