What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

I used to bleat on and on about how I only use MSFS for small light GA flying. Then recently I decided to try the A320neo. I am now addicted to the Toulouse Tube, thanks Asobo!

I found out that a texture size of 24k x 24k with 140 PPI is not supported by Intel Texture Works. But 12k texture size with 200PPI pixel density for maximum clearance and sharpness of textures is possible without any problems

Good to know, good to know…

Flew the BAE 146 from BGBW to BIIS so I’m in Iceland now

Dawn flight from KSDL to KSNA in the WT CJ4. Live weather and traffic. IFR flight plan. Just freakin stunning scenery with fps averaging 50. The update has been a nice improvement all around.

Honestly, the more you put into it the more you will get out of it.

I find that sightseeing and messing around is okay for maybe 20 mins or so and then I get bored.

I then get involved in detailed flight planning, cold starts, fuel planning, ATC, flying by the book, ILS approaches and so on. The more I learn the more interesting it gets :+1:

Took off and landed at the Altisurface de Notre-Dame-de-la-Salette aerodrome. Perhaps the most difficult take-off and landing in the world???

Agreed, a difficult landing spot, no room for error, but actually any landing has little room for error

I flew from KRNO (Reno) to KSLC (Salt Lake City). I had a great flight across Nevada. The destination airport was quite busy. I got a go-around twice but had to just park the plane down on the 2nd try since we were running out of fuel. Those brakes were smoking.

cranked up the venerable 135 (this and all my Japanese liveries have not been made for the 145) for a quick flight to see what had been updated at Fa’a’a and Tetiaroa… Got started around 1500 and the almost summer solstice sun was low in the sky (seasonal climate is opposite us up north here). Short flight, picturesque as usual. Even ran into a few French warships…

It was time to take the Cessna Chancellor out of the hangar again one more time.

This is a strange one:

True air speed TAS should be significantly higher than indicated air speed IAS, but it´s vice versa…
Maybe a small bug Flysimware should be notified about

And I wonder how does this instrument “know” the true air speed without knowing the barometric pressure and flight level?

Looking good ! I just enjoy the sim for relaxation.
If I want to fly jets that’s not present in msfs2020, I jump on my fully modded p3d.nkthing wrong with it. Still flying v4 up to now.

Orbx has a PAC750 in the works. Jimbo posted about it on his Facebook a while back. Closest thing we’ll see to a Cresco in MSFS!
