Due to a misread pamphlet I ended up in Toledo instead of Toronto to see 4Town live, so I had to rush there to catch the gig.
Luckily I arrived in time, the Sky Dome was not yet open

Fly safe!
Directx 12 started working for me yesterday I havent changed anything so hell if I know why but:
Its going to be one of those flights:
And North of Tribal Air / Mcneal:
The most dangerous runway landing in the world…
Fewer than two dozen pilots are certified to land at this airport…
Continuing from where I left off months ago. Tocumen, and down to Caracas today. Now flying inland looking for Angel Falls. Won’t be much to see I’m sure but gotta go.
Sure is a lot of waterfalls in Venezuela apparently. Like 6 them all right near each other. Maybe this one is Angel falls?
New helipads in Chile. Did the southern portion of the country. When will we see South America treated?
Had a controller say nice things to me…
By using these sites:
I planned some nice flight over the great lakes, departing from Ford Airport with arrival at CYYB North Bay Airport.
Our two flight guests tonight. I hate crowded planes that´s why two PAX are enough! (Sometimes I accept four PAX - but only when they are Witcher 3 fans and a D&D group…)
Uh it looks like their partnership (or marriage) is going down the drain! But it´s none of my busines - they can sit whereever they want.
Newest Nav database is installed. Maybe I can stop giving all my flight numbers a 666 because since I know IFR flying my flights are no longer going to hell
Oh oh…! An US FAA METAR. Have never seen this before, and I did not know what any of these values mean yesternight, but here is the translation:
Beautyful!
And she was ready to go!
I’m not an achievement Hunter usually. But today decided to get the 25 starred airport achievement.
Just had five left to do so flew circuits and some interesting places I’ve never visited before.
Looking the achievement list there are so many I’ll never do because I tend not to do any of the curated experiences. And the SIM keeps losing my flight time.
Just found a massive caldera in this paradise island. Never realised it was there all along. Been in that lake back in 1998. There is a nice resort / cafe / hot spring overlooking Lake Kintamani in Mt Batur.
Given its size, this might be another super volcano that is still rarely studied yet, despite being in the popular island of Bali.
We now know that Mount Rinjani (2nd tallest volcano in Indonesia) from neighbouring island of Lombok used to be a some kind of super big volcano once named Mt Samalas. It erupted back in 1257, before collapsing it into Lake Anak (Segara Anak) and peaking at Mount Rinjani.
The more popular Toba super volcano erupted 70,000 years ago, the second largest ever after Lake Taupo (New Zealand), and nearly extinguished mankind from this planet. Mount Batur erupted about 20,000 - 25,000 years ago and still not much reading materials found on the internet estimating how big the explosion was.
Mt Tambora explosion in 1815, considered the largest ever in human history ( > VEI 7) “The Year Without Summer”, bigger than 1883’s Krakatoa explosion, produced a crater with 6 km diameter. Quite massive, and you can clearly see in MSFS. The Samalas volcano explosion in 1257 left a crater with 6 x 8.5 km size (also clearly visible in MSFS).
Batur caldera is 10 x 13 km - pretty big, bigger than island of Manhattan, easily making people oblivious to its presence.
Comparison:
Manhattan: 21.6 x 3.7 km
Aso Caldera (Kyushu) 25 x 18 km
Toba Caldera (Sumatera): 35 x 100 km
Yellowstone Caldera (Wyoming): 70 x 45 km

Flight from LRTR-Timisoara (addon by L. Cristea), to LGSR-Santorini (addon by jackzyg-Greek airports 5).
Flew the BAE 146 300 from RJCK to UHPP last night
A short flight from Dhaka (Bangladesh) to Paro (Bhutan)
The beautiful and tricky final approach to runway 15
Had a lovely short flight from Cork to Kerry in the Cessna 152.
The weather wasn’t too bad and the scenery gorgeous.
I’m thinking of doing a tour of the whole island but I think I’ll use something speedier than the 152.
Four flights today:
Liverpool (EGGP) - Lyon (LFLL)
Lyon - Naples (LIRN)
Naples - Rhodes (LGRP)
Rhodes - Barcelona (LEBL).
Distances are obviously not 100 percent correct this is direct and not airwayroutes.
This four-minute video of the air safari will take you around Darjeeling in India to crossing the border into Nepal, and landing at the difficult sloped runway of Ilam on a hilltop. You will be seeing the tea plantation in the Himalayas on either side of the border between India and Nepal.
So sit back and enjoy.
LFKJ-Ajaccio (by FRED20 and jolouv at flightsim.to) to LFBP-Pau Pyrenees (by Occitania VFR- Occitania VFR (gratisim.fr))
Flew the Piper Warrior to check out the default scenery for Allegheny state park, unfortunately I had to manually navigate there because if you go into Flight assistance settings it doesn’t really show up as a point of interest in landmarks so I went north from KBFD to Limestone NY and from there located red house and found the little kayak lake they have there
