What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

This four-minute video of the air safari will take you around Darjeeling in India to crossing the border into Nepal, and landing at the difficult sloped runway of Ilam on a hilltop. You will be seeing the tea plantation in the Himalayas on either side of the border between India and Nepal.

So sit back and enjoy.

Flew the Piper Warrior to check out the default scenery for Allegheny state park, unfortunately I had to manually navigate there because if you go into Flight assistance settings it doesn’t really show up as a point of interest in landmarks so I went north from KBFD to Limestone NY and from there located red house and found the little kayak lake they have there

One more leg with the C208, following the Zambezi through lake Kariba, arriving from Binga at Kariba.

Once again, I could not get rid of the GENERATOR OFF warning and subsequent warnings when changing flaps while also having the landing lights on. Last time, following the start-up checklist again resulted in no warnings. But this did not work this time.

In the end, I left with the battery at 0.0 and the “STBY ALT PWR” on. Dodgy, but in the end nothing happened.

If I disabled “STBY ALT PWR” it looked even worse.

Interesting two airstrips so close together.

Checked them out here (FVRI and FVTA)

Coming in hot:

Bought and tested the Hooper heliport for DTLA! less than 10 USD. Rocky start, but it’s in his instructions to restart (I am using another mod for other helipads and it causes the issue which, according to instructions, should work with a sim restart.) This LA lad sure had a MSFS dream come true. Oh, yeah, another gorgeous magic-hour in my hometown.

Doing New Zealand to Australia runs. Clouds looking amazing over the ocean. Can’t wait for SU10 to make it even look nicer!!

Sometimes I am too lazy to program the systems. In this case, everything is handflown… and it flies like a dream!
Absolute smooth sailing, no erractic behaviour no endless trimming no unstable flights, but only smooth soothing fly-by-wire computer-controlled perfection.

Heeeeere Kitty Kitty Kitty!

This new Iceland and Greenland overhaul is awesome, this time without snow.

One almost forgets that it is almost impossible to breath in an apartment under the roof while the 35°C scorching sun will burn down for another 9 hours or so because the great Airbus airconditioning system is so immersive!

Hauled a load of hunting equipment from Nome, AK (PAOM) to Deering, AK (PADE) in my Kodiak 100. Weather was lousy. I used Runway 03 RNAV LPV. The handoff from VNAV to APR went bad due to my wrong altitude target setting. Consequently I had to take over from AP and land my self. Got on the ground in one piece. It was ugly, but rifles and ammo delivered to the local hunters.
