Flew from Fermont Caniapiscau Airport (CCP6) to Wabush (CYWK)

It was the awesomest weather, I had great time flying at 5000ft in and out of clouds

By the time I arrived it was near sunset and visibility wasn’t the best either. Luckily the airport has ILS, which was a great help. Still the landing got quite bumpy. Not my best at all :face_with_peeking_eye:

Pfff the IMPOSSIBLE become reality… For the first time I managed to take off with something from Lower Loon Creek
Finally the impossible airfield has been beaten!

Maybe this was caused by the cold air and therefore more engine power, and the wind… I don´t know.

Too bad that running joke about Lower Loon Creek is now no longer funny.
But wait! There is no chance to beat death, this is the price for starting from Lower Loon Creek:

I thought the meeeep-mep meeeeep-mep alarm tone is caused by an unlocked gear or something, but the fuel was out minutes after starting…

Flying the 208 out of Lauderdale up the coast, then it was time to go, and it was getting late I was just gonna quit the session, then I thought well theres a beach up there, doesnt look very wide ah WTH and went for it a perfect no flaps landing. And since the cargo pod under the belly looks like A row boat, I ventured out to see, unfortunatley once the engine bay got wet, crash and burn LOL. :

Brest LFRB to Montpellier LFMT, France.
With the help of fellow Boing flyers here, I was able to make that learning curve a bit easier on PMDG systems today. I’m grateful to them for that.

Took off from Mcgill’s Ultralight field that was decommissioned twenty years ago and did some touch and go water landings on the source lake at Arrowhead Ranch before landing at Deer Valley airport in Phoenix, AZ. No Pix because I am still battling loss of rudder control after landing and patches of scenery are missing. Running 1.26.5.0 and it appears that some thing work better and others do not work at all.

Quick morning flight LFJL to LFST. First time in a long time I encountered some issues with the sim. Stock G1000 PFD frozen altimeter tape, speed tape, CDI, etc… So had to use the steam gauges.

The last few flights I’ve been planning and flying are rough recreations of early US Air Mail routes that utilized the ground arrow and beacon system for navigation. I don’t have many old aircraft so I’m using the Stearman to fly.

Between a book I own and an online database map showing the locations of the arrows and beacon lights, I’ve put together some flight plans and flown strictly VFR to each leg of the route. Today was Chicago, IL to St Paul, MN.

Extremely brave pilots in those early days of primitive maps, poor aircraft stability or power, and only landmarks (if one could see them) to guide one. When will someone make the Jenny? Great idea.

Revisited the first aircraft I bought for the sim, the Fiat G.91. Took it for a ride in the Lake Como area.

Really underrated aircraft with pretty good fidelity and excellent visuals. One of the best looking cockpits in the sim, in my opinion.

Decided to enhance some of the Fenix textures a little bit…

After a few more enhancements upload of this patch this weekend.

Just finished a 1:15hr flight from Toronto Pearson (YYZ) to Indianapolis (IND) with the Aerosoft CRJ-700. The weather at Pearson was very nice for a short flight like this one. Winds were coming in from the East so today’s departure was from Pearson’s RWY 15L.

After departing out of Pearson, I climbed to FL380 and enjoyed the cruise out to Indianapolis.

There was a bit of cloud cover over Indianapolis, but conditions were still clear and fair which made for an easy landing.

I arrived at Indianapolis on-time! And I must say that the Dominic Design Team scenery is incredible!
