What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 1)

Excellent shots.
Lighting, perspective…
captured the journey so well.

Stanstead - Isle of Man.

Took forever because of a 50 knot headwind. You don’t want to cruise at 190 knots ground speed, lol.

SU10 and the edge of Ian – KPCM to Punta Gorda (KPGD?)
This is the first smooth high overcast look that I’ve seen over Florida in a very long time and the presentation of the edge of Hurricane Ian was awesome. I think a METAR threw in an odd haze at one point but that became OK as I flew.

Just moved my 310R from KISM to KSSI to get away from IAN. IFR from KISM to about Daytona then VFR the rest of the flight. Very impressed with the weather representation and was a fun flight.

Frequent Lightning:

I have to say I never saw a plane actually gain speed in a 68knt head wind. But it did today lol !

Learning how to use Simbrief, Navigraph Charts and the moving maps together. I’ve been a long-time Navigraph data only subscriber and now have access to their full product line. Really really amazing. Still have a lot to learn.

Toured Newfoundland a bit. From Deer Lake (CYDF) I flew first to Gander Intl (CYQX) requesting only a touch and go, then from Gander to Bay Roberts (CYBY)

I really like what the new update did to the cloud layers

Bay Roberts airport is quite an interesting one to land. It has 3 runways all of which are one directional only. Never seen anything like it. I pulled off a pretty reckless landing on runway 06, coming in from way too high and at an angle, but as it is pretty long I managed to land quite softly.
