Flew the dc6 from CZST to CYBD, I love that they have a little school bus parked near the building at CYBD

Pre-flight(ed?) my FIRST long XC, and all VFR ground references were spot on!!

“You’d have passed your Checkride with that.” Said my CFI.

I have 12 hours IRL.

MSFS2020 is amazing. :heart::heart::heart:

Flew into 1A7 which is an awesome little airstrip between a river and a mountain in TN. Y’all should try it. With the Fall Season trees it’s mind-bendingly accurate in MSFS. TRY IT!!

Here’s 1A7 in the sim.

It’s like I’d BEEN there before!

FBW A320 From KLAX-KMDW. Weather was good so only used about 2/3 of the runway to land.

Don’t know much about the PI coast guard, except for what I’m seeing with the H145 and the mix in their liveries (payware) and the freeware mod. At least the PICG uses the 145 for real. You’re right, they are not cheap for real.

Flew the DC6 from CYBD to CYVR (Vancouver)

Gonna do a west coast turn around and fly east back to my starting point

Flying the Black Square King Air as an Air Ambulance in outback Australia. I’m loving this plane so much, I really feel like I’m flying in an alive world with this aircraft. Well done Black Square this is my payware aircraft of the year.

Did an ambulance flight from Oslo to Stavanger to pick up a patient that needed special treatment in the Norwegian capital.

Tried to stay VFR all the way which meant under the clouds and close to the mountains.

Passed Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen) on my way to Stavanger.

I was half-way finished in setting up and programming the Fenix for my latest Alaskan night flight…

Until I found out that some airports are not listed and cannot be used to calculate V1, Vr and V2. This one can, but some others not…
So no flight tonight because of some bad preplanning

I switched to daytime and checked some textures afterwards like for example to get the exact green tone brake pressure gauge:

Found out that there are indeed some radio panels existing with triangular shaped indicator and orange LCD screens:

But my illumination for the thrust reversers went too red in real it´s more orange-reddish illuminated. Going to change that later.

After seeing that radio panels with green triangular-shaped indicators and orange LCD displays exist I immediately rredid the orange LCD lighting of the Fenix radiopanels. (I have no access to real Airbusses and can only modify the panels based on pure looks what I find on Google picture seach, not based on serial number or model version because I simply don´t have access to exact technical specifications of cockpit instrument panels).

And of course for the overhead panel radio too.

Flew half an hour circuit training (with emphasis on raining) at EGPH on VATSIM. It was a great experience to train the RC-procedures that I learned in my first two RC-lessons.
It was just SOOO much fun!!!
MSFS paired with VATSIM is the bomb!

Now I need to find better VFR (ADC and VAC) plates of German and British airports. Any tips? What I can find in the AIP’s seems to be exclusively for IFR.

Picked up Gunslinger from the market place last week… very nice airplane, a natural… more difficult than Savage, but much easier to handle in comparison to Spitfire, or Granville Brothers racers.

Touristing on the Toscane coastline, Italy near Ansedonia

The digital readout of altitude and airspeed is very convenient

Only small airfields there, but there are wide areas to land comfortably…
