I’m a ga pilot, both in rl and in sim. Much of my simming is about enjoying the view, but for this flight I became fascinated by the balance needed for stable flight in all phases of flight. it made the sim aircraft feel like a real machine. watching lift increase with airspeed, and power settings…and countering those effects with control surfaces. All with the goal of eliminating pilot induced oscillations.
What a cool flight, which continued to a sweet landing, in the JF turbo arrow.
Even though ground handling will probably always be twitchy in the arrows, flying the aircraft with care and touch, makes for fine ground performance.
