I went flying around Alderney and then the Isle of White in my mini 500 but didn’t take any pictures. Then I went flying up to Pompey and saw some nice boats.
well didn’t flew that much today, I have been mostly digging blender documentations & related thread , trying various importer/exporter add-on, installing 3 distinct versions because nothing seems to be very stable on this matter , good news i finally succeed in model import ! so I spent most of my day learning usefull shortcuts, features etc made a first draw with extended cabin limit and no wiper on the king air
I did the second leg of the Mick Lange DA62 ferry flight if you can call it that, because it’s a very very short leg:
I did a rather bad landing, flaring it too high, so I kind of fell to the runway from a meter or so
Here’s proof:
Quoted for emphasis
A quick flight from Ahmedabad (VAAH) to Mumbai (VABB) in the HondaJet
Sadly ATC for the CTR had signed off by the time I got into the airplane, so I had to start the flight on Unicom, but luckily Mumbai approach was still online when I got there, so I got ATC for arrival and landing.
There was an awful haze on arrival, I got my first glimpse of the runway from only about a mile off, but luckily that was still above the minimums so I could land on the first go. It went pretty okay too, about 120 fpm according to volanta.
Video is still uploading, you can check it later here:
today flew a lot in Philippines from Laoag (RPLI) to Romblon ( RPVU) via RPUQ - RPUS - RPLS - RPLL
then took the analog King Air above Africa for a short flight ( FNZE : N’zeto, Angola to FZAA N’djili Intl, Kinshasa, Congo via FZAW)
despite the fact it was pretty quiet I finally found in, its easter egg !!!
(I found 1 on each BlackSquare aircraft, I know there is two in the caravan I m still looking for the second one !!! )
and finally, this afternoon I took the Baron from LFLL (Lyon St Exupery) to LFBK ( Montlucon-Gueret, France )
I ll now plan my Lidl tour for tomorow
Took the JPL C152 from Concord (KCCR) to Monterey (CA66) in a circuit turning over San Francisco and heading down the coast, with a quick stop at Las Trancas (17CL) in the middle. I used live weather conditions, and did NOT forget to top up the oil before departing, so no emergency landings today!
Flew around DC the other day to see how DRZ fixed their scenery and check out new helipads. Working well.
When it’s time for a bit more adrenaline, Wilga is a good choice (as well as being my happy place). Gorgeous conditions for a few laps around the long course at Gable Field.
NOTAM: all runways closed today for maintenance. Swapping components, upgrading GPU…
Back again at Port Harvey in British Columbia. Weather was better than the day before.
Found this livery. Like it! Most liveries with white parts bloom to much in sunlight.
I noticed and then couldn’t unsee the raymarched reflections cutting out next to other objects. Turned them off. Do we really miss them? Not sure, yet. If I don’t find a solution I’ll have to go with the less annoying option.
Good luck, and godspeed!
Flew EGPH Edinburgh to EGPW Unst (Baltasound Airport) in the Shetlands using my Vision Jet.
Apparently the airport is supposed to be disused although it was quite busy when I arrived.
Got the 1 000 hour achievement on a Pilotedge flight from KLAS to KBUR in the brilliant Black Square King Air.
1 000 hours. Time flies when you’re flying.
Did another flight of my laid back, “Don’t know which airport but do know which direction”, world trip.

Wow. Great photos.
I’ve just completed a short flight from EGBB Birmingham UK starting at dusk to EGLL Heathrow and ending in the dark in the Douglas DC-6A on Xbox. My best one yet. I ignored ATC telling me to climb to 12,000 feet just 20nm from landing
I didn’t take any photos today but here are a couple from yesterday’s flight in Edinburgh.
Thank you.
She’s a good ol bird!
Default ATC can be hilarious therefore pilots discretion is needed at all times.
Have a great one.

G
