Currently waiting for my PC…Can’t wait. Have been on the Xbox as well. Congrats on the switch. What are the specs on your PC?

Didn’t take any screenshots this time unfortunately. Feel like I got traumatized so many times on Xbox where I take a screenshot and it makes my plane do a nosedive. (Finally bought a PC, awaiting shipment!)

Anyways, flew from Stewart (NST) in Canada to some random airstrip in the Midwest. Was about 8 hours in the twin engine bonanza. Got an achievement for doing a flight for 8 hours or more in a prop plan.

Finished Rijeka to Santorini bush-trip in WB-Sim C172 with real weather. LGSO :airplane: LGNX :airplane: LGSR Clear sky today. It was interesting that Naxos airport LGNX is below approach to Mikonos airport LGMK. As I was approaching LGNX I heard approach saying to be aware of traffic Cessna Skyhawk at 3000ft. That was me. And when I was on downwind 36 of LGNX I could see aircraft flying above me. A bit thrilling.

Rans S6S Coyote again, this time exploring the Channel Islands from KNTD to KLOP and all points in between. By the time I made the outer island the wind had increased to 32 kts! Fortunately it was mostly a headwind. It’s fun flying in such crazy conditions, which an IRL pilot would most likely not do unless they were lucky enough to be the supply pilot for the island’s inhabitants. Really getting addicted to the Coyote, but I wish that empty gauge spot had something there, such as a directional gyro, or better yet a uAvionix AV-30, which would give you a gyro plus navigation and a lot more.

Time for a multi-island hop, yup.

Lots of time over the water, which I’m certain is teeming with sharks.

Lonesome San Miguel island, KLOP. Lots of beaches and tiny tings that look enough like airstrips. These islands are fun to explore!!

Started one of my socal practice flights in the Carenado C337, my favorite twin. Unfortunately cut short by online data failing, I’ll come back to it later.

Former Naval and Marine base at Tustin north of John Wayne airport (KSNA); the WWII-era blimp hangars are marked on the VFR sectional!

Heading towards Big Bear (L35), climbing over the Santa Ana mountains towards Riverside County.

and in that whirly bird, you could do a perfect landing at the gate and hike all over it.

I made my longest flight so far. I was in TBM 930 from Catalina island (KAVX) to La Paz Mexico (MMLP). I forgot to take any pictures as i forget that I’m not isolated in that game any more lol. I’ll be sure to grab some next time. Next leg is on to Mexico City on my way to Bogota for a load of Cyber-Coke.

Today I broke a personal speed record in a C172. I decided to fly from Cape Town to Kimberley in South Africa. Seeing as it was night time there I changed the time but kept real weather. I did not do proper flight preparation so I did not check the winds aloft. ATC gave me 11,000 ft and I was fine with that as I just wanted to check the actual VOR ranges on a couple legs. Turns out at that altitude the wind was… let’s just call it “rather brisk” and leave it at that! Fortunately it was almost exactly a tail wind so I was MOVING! Like would you believe 170kts ground speed in a C172 at a not totally extravagant power setting?

That was fun! :innocent:

today I learned a valuable lesson, NOT EVERYTHING should be launched from a CATAPULT

What is that aircraft?

It reminds me of a Cessna, but with retractable landing gear. (Did they make them like that?)
