I finished Czech route bush trip in WB-Sim C172 in real weather. LKNO LKPR
Visual navigation was quite easy. I just followed the highway that I used to drive very often and I knew every meter of it. And just before the destination I took detour to Karlštejn castle.
Went for a leisurely ride in the Grand Caravan from Orange County to Catalina… AI traffic decided to land in the opposite direction as I was taking off though
Today I took Got Friends Wildcat up for a couple of aerobatic routines over Headcorn. I love watching videos of Greg Shelton flying his FM-2 Wildcat (later version with more power) at airshows. I’m always amazed at the climb rate after takeoff and that he manages to do a vertical eight, two loops on top of each other! So, naturally I tried to imitate that in the sim and to my surprise it worked Got Friends really did an awesome job with it, it’s a real joy to fly!
Here’s a video from the second flight, including a ground view at the end…it turned out longer than I had planned. I guess I got a bit carried away
That is the payware H-145 from HYPE.
After this one i died, try to land at Milford Sound New Zealand, you stressed the aircraft! WTF!? Everything was okay, than this quick interuption.
Pavel Melnyk “The fighter transporter” , fly on 27 of September 2023 ,from Ronald Reagan carrier in Baltic Sea, to Ukranie, Kiev Airport, in a critical mission
Did you land at the glaciar on photho nº31 ? Seem good mate!
Ears Clear After COVID - KLNA-PBIA-KLNA
Now that my ears are clear of COVID congestion, I’m back in the air!
Today a local hop between the uncontrolled Lantana, Florida county airport KLNA
and the GA runway at the Class C controlled Palm Beach International full-stop,
and finally back to the comfortable home port KLNA again.
My VR in the LongEZ still works, remembered how to have Volanta track my flight,
and listened for friends on the Atlantic Coast Virtual Flying Club Discord.
Really feeling better!
I started another bush-trip in WB-Sim C172 in real weather. This time Danube journey: LZMC LZVB LHBY LHEM LHBS
First 2 airports could be visited only in MSFS.
Malacky airbase is military airbase and even the nearby forest has restricted access for civilians.
And Vajnory airport is closed for about 20 years. So I didn’t do touch and go there. Just low flyover.
Bratislava: capital of Slovakia and my home town.
Slovakia on the right, Hungary on the left, and Austria in the back. That large lake in the back is Neusiedler see.
I couldn’t pronounce Gyãµrszentivã¡N-Bãµny, so it was just lima-hotel-bravo-yankee in callouts.
The longest river in Slovakia (Váh) joining the longest river in Europe (Danube).
And reaching Budapest. Just before sunset.
Final flight, for a while, with Just Flight’s Turbo Arrow III, from Gran Canaria to Tenerife (South). Finally made it, all the way from Mount Etna and lots of breaks of MSFS!
Picture Show
Some traffic landing here, for a change I am using the same runway as the other traffic. I still haven’t figured out if these are people or just AI.
I went here on vacation somewhere when I was a child
Some more resorts:
Final stop (for the Turbo Arrow)
Strong cross-winds here over the ocean, for which I corrected course using this trusty “flight computer” (E6-B Flight Simulator)
I like how the weather matches with windy sometimes:
The airport should be over there at that small hill on the coast:
Perfectly on course, time to bring it in:
Time for something else:
Henderson Field to Munda. Testing after the Corsair would not start in the sim, and the H-145. Turns out the culprit was the freeware Gazelle, so I canned it. All was well after that.
Personal Comments and Observations
No need to wait for SU14, I’ve been running my own SR22T mod for months now (based on Tornado Alley Turbo STC). With G1000 charts integrated, this formerly stock Asobo bird has been such a blast to fly. I will miss this mod as it’s my first (and likely only) self-authored add-on, but I bow to the mighty technical wizardry of Working Title.
