Tried flying the FSW Learjet sideways.
Well I havent done it yet but I’m going to simulate a secret test flight with 737 over Death Valley. I plan to takeoff from Edwards AFB aorund 1:30 in the morning and do some orbits over the desert before returning back to Edwards to land.
Flew the Cessna 172 from Keflavik (BIKF) to Kaldarmelar (BIKA) via Reykjavik (BIRK), Borgarnes (BIBO), and Storikroppur (BISR).
Sightseeing over Reykjavik
Approaching Tungubakkar (BIMS)
En route to Borgarnes
Final approach to Storikroppur. Yes, that is the 2,326 ft dirt runway straight ahead. Guess the aiport staff don’t plow it in winter!
Looks like they don’t mow it either!
Total flight time: a little over an hour. Note that once again according to MSFS, I have more landings than take-offs, though both numbers are wrong!
Flew the Airbus 125 chopper from 6S9 to 12WA after rescuing my passengers
13WA to KEAT in the DeHavilland Caribou
Today is for re-flying my leg from Jan Mayen to Svalborg. Had an unfortunate power blip here at the house midway through. This high latitude arctic winter flying is a real treat!
The noon sun this far north!
Beerenberg Volcano looking resplendent this afternoon!
Had a really nice flight inbound for Baltimore flying over the Chesapeake Bay area. Made a quick cut edit to keep it interesting.

Yet another TBM 930 flight, Basel to Inglostadt.

Weather is not so nice here, very gloomy
Breaking out
And some sunshine
That’s a stiff wind here at almost 50 kts
Something about these flat landscapes
Almost there … ETSI
Great someone wiating for me for once
A slow & scenic flight along the coast of Wales from Cardif (EGFF) to Llandbehr (EGFD) in the Cessna 172, landing at many of the small airstips along the way.
Approaching Aberporth (EGFA)
Approaching Llandbehr (EGFD)
KEAT to Seattle Washington in the Caribou
PMDG Boeing 737 900 ER from Seattle to Denver as Alaskan Airways
Flew my OV-10 Bronco from Esbly to Lee-On-Solent and then to RAF Woodvale north of Liverpool. Great weather, fabulous plane (might be my current No. 1) and much fun dropping into Liverpool while the solo from Freebird was playing.
Cloudy skies above Northern France. You might be able to spot the Seine through the hole below.
Leaving mainland Europe at Le Havre.
Yes, I love the built-in smoke generator of the OV-10. After an “attack run” on Shanklin, UK.
Turning north at Gloucester.
Photo recon at Stoke-on-Trent.
“Sorry officer…”
Flew the LatinIFR airbus a320 214 as delta from Denver to Detroit Metro
Got-Friends Grumman F4F-4 from Bob Maxwell KOKB in Oceanside CA, to Borrego Springs L08, with a few shenanigans along the way. She’s definitely a roller moreso than a looper, but I coaxed a couple of nice loops out. Definitely thrilling to fly, pretty to look at, and very challenging to taxi, take off, and land.
Roaring over the desert foothills was never so much fun!
I love this plane from every angle.
Getting the right speed on approach was really challenging. The elevator trim isn’t as effective as I’d like, this ain’t no Cessna, nope.
Part of me doing a really lopsided attempt at a Cuban Eight.
Folding wings make for convenient urban use. Watching them fold and unfold is such a ■■■■ kick, golly I just LOVE this stuff so much. What a gorgeous and detailed model from got-friends!
Flew the ATR 42 600 from Detroit to Rochester NY I discovered I have no breaks on my rudder pedals anymore
