Ok, i tested the 500E now also and i am again speechless - amazing!
I checked today morning if there was any interesting vatsim regions online, and South Korea was on with multiple towers, approaches and even central control online. So I decided to fly from Jeju (RKPC) to Seoul Gimpo (RKSS) in the Longitude. However by the time I was ready with my flight pland they all logged off, so this turned into a BeyondATC flight without even a minute on vatsim… Well too bad, but this is exactly the reason I bought BATC, so in the end it was ll just fine.
I failed to capture GS while I was still using autopilot, so I flipped it off and did the approach by hand. I was way off from the centerline, but at least it was a smooth touchdown.

Amazing immersion…what type of VR headset are you using?
I’m having a nice California real-time trip in the delicious A2A Piper Comanche. I began in Jacumba, CA, popped in for a stop at Ocotillo, then flew up past Borrego Springs and Palm Springs for a quick stop in Banning. On to Hemet, and from there up to Fullerton VFR over clouds, and then an IFR descent to a 1500 foot ceiling for some simulated irresponsible danger (IRL that would have been 100% no-go). Then, on to Agua Dulce, which is in a more mountainous and challenging area. Don’t underestimate Agua Dulce! Next leg takes me to Santa Barbara, which should be an easy approach and landing. Not sure where to from KSBA, I’m thinking back into the center of CA, maybe Bakersfield or something.

Wilmington to Charlotte in the ATR 72 600
The Oso Washington mudslide, the most fatal mudslide in US history, occurred about 10 years ago. Wipe away over 20 homes and 40+ dead.
Saw it mentioned on reddit so I flew over the slide area. It is very apparent and shocking when you see it. Flew out of 89WA (Bush grass runway) and landed at 1S2 (small airport). Took the Wilga. Gorgeous area of the country surrounded by hills and mountains.
RIP to those that lost their lives.
Can see the mudslide area. They rerouted the highway to the left after the slide.
From inside the cockpit.

Sunset / night VFR crossing from US to Canada in C172: KDEW CYCG
Again I forgot that it was night with no moonlight. But still possible to do VFR. From Deer Park I turned west towards sun until reaching Columbia river. Then I turned north and just followed the river. I had still some sunshine and only last 2 bends were in dark. But there I could already see Castlegar city.
Originally I expected that it would be very dangerous, because the airport was in the valley, but the city with lights next to it was large enough and it was possible to fly pattern with enough confidence.
I was rather high on final. I wanted to avoid obstacles and runway was long enough to touchdown further down. And I managed my smoothest night landing. Much bigger problem was to see the taxiway to clear the runway.
A short flight from KLAS to KLAX. Used BeyondATC for the second time, everything went well once again. I’m a happy simmer!
Anyone else had this happen?
See a place in a movie and want to fly to it in MSFS, place of choice: Rosslyn Chapel
So you do your homework and get the long/lat
Then when you fly over it:
The building doesn’t exist.
I went down a rabbit hole today that has DEPTH…
It is not without fault, but… but… but… The cockipt is around you, it has depth and I almost tried to reach out and touch stuff…
