I did have a few moments of dread in the Cabri, first as I almost ran directly through the animated geese, and again as my downdraft would have been severely not bueno for those geese. Good thing the animated ones are impervious to other flying things.
Quick recap, while in Dallas I got a call from Air Canada of them wanting me to bring the plane back and they would tell me if I was getting the job or not.

Note: I use the term “flyboy” out of context. I recently found out that it means a pilot in the navy. The way I use the term is someone who does some sort of acrobatics in the air. I’m not in the navy and I hope nobody was offended by my use of the word.
Yesterday I left the Bahamas and arrived back on home soil, landing in Charleston. The views on the way up were stunning and we had a relatively smooth cruise. When it came time for descent, however, we were met with quite a bit of weather. Nothing our trusty TBM couldn’t handle of course, but it was still a bit of a bumpy ride and I had to hand fly a good portion of the descent and the entire final approach. Overall, a fun flight and now we make our way up the East Coast.
This morning I continued my journey South from John Wayne airport to the Mc Clennan - Palomar airport near Carsbad in S. Cal., I flew with live traffic and weather…
