What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 2)

Tried to familiarize myself with the Ju-52 in MSFS 2024 by taking her for a ride from Dessau to Eisenach. Passed the Kyffhäuser-Denkmal in the Harz Mountains by accident and had to do an epic fly-by shot.

So the other day, I was simulating a lost of power condition over lake Champlain (~6500).
Considering I was closer to Plattsburg (and the winds were 140), runway 17 was the ideal runway. I was VFR on top (on the climb out from KBTV, I did a cloud deck so I did deviate from an intended heading of about 330 True).

Almost got onto 17 (ended up landing parallel in the grass)

(was a planter, but considering I landed on airport property, I would be ok)

is this in 2020 or 2024? I bought it before 2024 came out. wondering if it works in 2024

I found this video really helped. https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/e7zeZqsx8JQ

To me, this Epic system seems so intuitive compared to others.

Some short 1-hour flights in SU2. First, a bush flight in the X-Cub from Yakutat (PAYA) to Haines Junction (CYHT):

Then an overflight of New York City in the De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver:

Finally, a scenic flight along Te Koko-o-Kupe Bay and Marlborough Sounds in the NX Cub:

There is an unnamed airstip in Melville Cove that I spotted:

Which makes for an fun, easy landing:

It appears to be a private airstrip servicing a cabin:

Flew on in the Avanti from Belfast (EGAA) to London Luton (EGGW) but this time there was ATC online, so I used Vatsim instead of BATC:

FS24. So far I haven’t had any noticeable issues with the Kodiak in 24.

Sorry I wasn’t clear. I meant the Victoria falls scenery. So sounds like it works fine in 2024 too.
