Thanks for that, very grateful, may well save me hours.
Get stranded in Dallas learning the Fenix a320
Nice flying! 10/10 landing as well. That plane looks really nice in Pan Am colors. I’ve been trying to give the C-46 some love myself and cruising around Alaska. I would like to find someone to make a Wein Air livery for it but so far haven’t found anyone to do it.
Been playing around with wifi connection, did this flight earlier but not far from my destination I got booted from twitch. Turns out Xbox prefers 2.4ghz wifi
The next leg of the world tour… oh and I overshot it and had to turn back…
Hadn’t taken out the Seastar for a while, so decided to visit the watery Lake of the Woods. Took off from Winnipeg & flew down to Northwest Angle (58MN):
then onto the seaplane base at Kenora (CJM9)
Unfortunately the seaplane base is not modelled at all - just the default procedural buildings & Bing map data:

I’ll work my way up to using the Proline little by little.
This morning I’m testing HDG and ALT along with VS and FLC. And I’ve got to say it works very nicely, no problems.
An easy and pleasant aircraft to fly, both manually and basic AP.
A little disappointed that any flight plan filed in the World Map doesn’t show up, not even on the little VFR map.
However, I get a lot of pleasure from learning new Nav systems. Tomorrow is the Proline and a Direct To.
A short sortie with the excellent freeware Rafale M, playing “identify” with some commercial traffic. And some low level fun.

Flew the Fenix a319 Dallas Fortworth (KDFW) to Charlotte (KCLT)
Love the livery - very tigerish!
Flew the CRJ 700 from Aberdeen to Belfast. You’ll have to excuse both the unrealistic livery and flight plan, as this was simply a test flight of the new V2 of the plane.
First time flying the CRJ. I’m happy to have a regional jet now, but I definitely still have some learning to do. I think what kept catching me off guard is that I am used to the autothrottle in A320. No autothrottle here, and that will spell trouble if you’re not careful.
Overall though, despite stalling once and crashing a couple times, as well as not parking in an actual parking spot, it was a fun flight! Other than my lack of experience with the plane, I didn’t notice any glaring bugs. I’m looking forward to learning more about her over the coming weeks.
I see they also did the tail of the hawkeye and grippen. But this, on your Rafale does look the best
Thank you! I love the C-46 and now that I have figured out the process of how to get both fuel tanks to work correctly I’ve been flying the heck out of it. It’s now one of my favorites to fly. I want to fly it in 2024 but I still can’t get that game to work without CTD.
2020, Cannon AFB back to Beale. Better flight in the Lear, but that ILS capture is still whacko… Say Intentions ATC had me doing a sharp turn on the capture, which I’ve got a feeling screws up the capture. From now on, I’ll try a shallower intercept angle.
Myself been doing some testing between 2020 and 2024 with the Xbox newest beta is still not it for an Xbox
Can’t load things properly on the plane as well duel to the efb weight section not showing me all the circles to adjust so can only load one side up and not even the wingtip
2020 on the other hand doesn’t load the fine fine detail till you get close but has decent further out level of detail
And also coz the weight and cargo part works correctly I can have my full wings
Military planes with weapons on the wings just look right imo thank you Microsoft for allowing them into the marketplace now as visual only helps the immersion alot for that style of plane
