I like to fly real world real world routes and pretend I’m a pilot for whatever airlines livery I’m using, along with the respective aircraft be it in their current fleet or former fleet. I took off from Dubai international airport UAE to Manchester international airport UK, had to use the A330 in Emirates livery by headwind. Emirates used to fly the A330 so used that until flybywire release their A380.
I did flight AS65 of the Alaska Milk Run yesterday in the PMDG 737-700. Flew Seattle - Ketchikan - Wrangell - Petersburg - Juneau - Anchorage. It was a lot of fun, especially the approach to Petersburg which I hadn’t prepared well
More VJet today (I’ve been neglecting her since the HJet update). Astoria Regional to Castlegar. Should’ve been 25 minutes, but it was 2.5 hours because I flew up the Columbia River.
Crossed an item off my bucket list; landing at St Barts like I did hundreds of times in the sim (as a pilot)
And was it similar to what you experienced in MSFS? hats off to you for this !! 2023 has been good for you already hehe
Very similar actually. Although in the sim you experience much more downdrafts and updrafts when overflying the hill in front of the runway. IRL I didn’t feel that at all.
nice I guess that is your aircraft?
They do so many trips from St-Marteen to this place in one day. did you ?
That’s the one! I am afraid off going too far off topic since it’s not about what I did in the sim. But it’s really BECAUSE of the sim
Safe and sound at Longyearbyen (Svalbard) coming from Tromso. They need to fix the bumpy runway, I had an experience like driving in the sand when landed.
Practiced some landings at TFFJ with C172. I did more go-arounds than landings.
And in the end, where should I park? It’s all full.
I did a flight from Vienna (LOWW) to Munich (EDDM) on Lufthansa 777-300er (Question, does Lufthansa have a 777-300er IRL?)
Not to mention in the top center where two airplanes are occupying the same space.
MUGM to KLSV in the F22. The flying close to LSV was cutting through the Grand Canyon. Fun stuff indeed.
No it doesn’t. No 777 for them. They use the 787 and 747 from Boeing. Most of their stuff is Airbus.
they ordered B77X and use B789
Freighter (Lufthansa Cargo) has A321 P2F and B77F
Nice. I wonder when the 777 will arrive for passengers. They don’t list it on the site. Thanks for the info!
google it and you’ll find out
Getting off topic here, folks.
Thank you for helping me out!
