Good morning. Leg 5 from Hamilton Island to Cairns: YBHM YBCS
I practiced go-around, because there was someone on the runway. Then I did loooong final because I got clearance to land as #2. Luckily the first aircraft got quickly off the runway.

Took the A310 from Salzburg (LOWS) to Geneva (LSGG)
All went fine until the approach, when the A310 decided to just ignore the glidepath and keep flying at 6000’
Had to disconnect automations, circle around and land manually, which went surprisingly fine. I wanted to make a video of the landing, but nvidia decided against it.
With such a nice weather at Geneva I couldn’t help doing another trip there, but time was a constraint so I did the flight from Zurich instead aaaaand using the HondaJet for ease of use.

More fam hops (familiarization flights) with the FSS Tecnam P2006T. KPVD to KBID, Visual Approach into Rwy 10. I passed the Patriots Team jet on the way out to RWY 05.
A short hop between Martian’s Bay and Gorge River airstrips in the BBS BN-2A.
Due to the heavily inaccurate real world snow coverage depicted in New Zealand, I’m thinking about making some custom weather presets that reflect commonly seen real world conditions in our country.
Edit: New Zealand weather presets now available from flightsim.to here: New Zealand Weather Presets » Microsoft Flight Simulator
Shortest trip I’ve logged so far - Big Bay Beach Strip to Gorge River - 7:45. That is an amazing little strip, and I just cannot imagine living there full time.
Fly the DeHavilland Caribou from NSTU to NFTP just to practice flying the caribou
Scratch another win for EGLC… I can’t seem to get an acceptable landing there. Well, maybe next time
I had a companion for quite some time on this flight
When I got clearance to climb to my cruising altitude he took over.
There were two planes taking off at Manchester who went the same SID, looked really nice from above, I watched them for quite some time.
Should remember to turn off these marks one day…

Piercy Island, also known as The Hole In The Rock is located off the north coast of the North Island of New Zealand. It is at the very northern tip of Cape Brett in the Bay of Islands. The 60-foot (18 m) hole at sea level was created over centuries by wind and waves making it one of the most naturally beautiful sites in New Zealand.
You’ve got quite some weather there
