What did you do in MSFS today? (Part 3)

A very relaxing flight in the Beechcaft Bonanza from Pobiednik Wielki (EPKP) to Breclav (LKBA).

Departure and destination are both glider airstrips:

A wintery scene en-route:

Before landing, a short detour to see Lednice Castle:

My downwind leg to runway 26 took me over downtown Breclav:

White markers outline the runway:

I could have parked by the gliders…

But decided to park by the tower and FBO.

I should have realized the locals knew the best place to park. It sure wasn’t here:

I think I’m going to need a tow to get out of this mud-patch!

First time in a few months flying the Comanche, testing her out with the new 2024 update. Continued on my 48 Lower States Capital Tour, coming into Concord, New Hampshire from Vermont. Absolutely beautiful flight!

I think I forgot a crucial step though…

(And before anyone asks, I thought the alarm was the airspeed indicator, not the gear. Oops.)

Did exactly the same months ago in my world tour…it happens

Hello,

the day before yesterday, my friend and I flew the legendary Blaník. For me it is the only glider I ever flew in the physical world, and despite it is already lots of time ago, I got the felling it is very well reconstructed.

Thank you TouchingClouds, really appreciated it!

I have one logged flight hour in a actual Cessna to cover the basic vehicles, 172 out of (KROC) and fly a small drone, did boats as well, (only thing I haven’t driven yet IRL is a train locomotive  ) but I stick to simming right now because I still can’t buy a house yet, however I’ve been very interested in the light sport and float plane category these day’s, but I might do something after I can figure out owning a home

KATL - KBNA in the PMDG 737-800 (this is actually yesterday’s flight, which was much more photogenic than this afternoon’s  )

Always fun to spot the old homestead on the arrival.

Passing the field headed north on the downwind.

Lined up and getting configured for the visual, 20L.

By far my best landing to date in the 2024 version of the aircraft.

Wilmington (KILM) to Orlando (KMCO) in the PMDG 737 800 with Avelo,

Hit a nasty bump taxing from the runway in between the two Northern terminals at Orlando (KMCO) because they haven’t updated Orlando (KMCO) yet

Mackay Bar (ID28) to Unity (11OG) in the Zlin Savage Norden:

Here we are at Mackay Bar. Snow’s not too deep, but my feet are getting cold. Time to take off!:

Flying over a winter wonderland:

Crossing the Snake river, just below Oxbow (OR12):

Hmm… the light is fading. Time to land:

Unity (11OG) is down there. Hard to tell where it is with all this snow:

Well, it should somewhere to the left…

… on the far side of those buildings…

Well, the EFB says I landed on the runway. You can’t tell from looking outside the cockpit window, though:

I sure hope there is a motel in Unity, Otherwise, it’s going to be a cold night in the back of my Norden, even with the sleeping bag.

Did my first flight in the Globe master c17 from Stansted to Warsaw.. Excellent flight though the glideslope wasn’t captured so had to hand fly the big girl in.

It is quite cold currently in Finland, so took a bit of a vacation and flew around the St. Kitts island with my buddies (they slept thru the whole flight ). Found an old fort, Brimstone Hill, that was used by the British military to protect the coastline from a sea attack and to provide a safe refuge for the island’s citizens. A nice change from the Finlands freezing weather. :desert_island:

My passengers were exhausted …zzzz…

The next day warming up the engines before flying east to Saskatchewan.

At Kipling (CKD5) with a 65hp Aeronca 7AC Champ

Low over Kipling searching for the world’s largest paperclip.

There it is. “One Red Paperclip”

Why is there a big paperclip, what does it symbolise

This is from 2005. A guy on social media wanted to see how far he could get doing free trades starting with a paper clip. Over the course of the year it got media attention and ultimately after 14 trades he ended up with a farmhouse in Kipling Saskatchewan.
Here’s the story
