I spent some Saturday time setting up a new add on for boat marinas. Here are some shots of marinas on the ILS into SFO. Far as I can see no performance hit.
[excuse the fog… it is SFO]
Following the E47, I thought a bridge just north of Nykobing Falster was missing, but looking at the map, it appears that building a tunnel was more economical:
Approaching Atlanta from Philadelphia. My first flight in the A400. What a brilliantly optimized plane on Xbox series x. Gonna start looking up some military airports now
Well, I found a B&B in Lendemarke where I could spend the night, but when I returned to Koster Vig (EKMN) the next morning, I found that my Junkers F13 had morphed into a Cessna T207A overnight!
A small glider airfield that conveniently is right next to the Hoganas golf club. There are a couple of restaurants by the airport that I can choose between for lunch after my round of golf too:
Taking the 737-800 from KSMF to KBOI as I continue to learn her systems. Overall, a beautiful late afternoon flight, but I came in too high for the glideslope, so we had to do a go-around where I got a bit….creative….on the landing because it is late in the real world.
I am sure the higher ups at Alaska Airlines will be giving me a call soon after the numerous lawsuits are filed. But, we got everyone down in one piece!
Since my last post on December 3rd in which I’ve left off in Paradise Hill Airport (Saskatchewan) I have since gone to the following:
MSFS 2020:
CJE6 – Paradise Hill Airport
General aviation field near Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan, Canada.
CJU4 – Humboldt Airport
Small public airport near Humboldt, Saskatchewan, Canada.
CYXH – Medicine Hat Airport
Public airport in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada.
SJS4 – Unknown/Very Small Aerodrome
I couldn’t find an exact match in standard airport databases for SJS4 — likely a tiny registered airstrip or private field in Canada whose official public info isn’t widely published.
CYBR – Brandon Municipal Airport
Airport serving Brandon, Manitoba, Canada.
CYHB – Hudson Bay Airport
Located near Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan, Canada.
CKD2 – Unknown/Private Airfield
This isn’t in standard ICAO databases — usually indicates a very small registered aerodrome or farm strip in Canada.
CJE4 – Unknown/Private Aerodrome
Again, likely a small general aviation airfield not in major public datasets.
CYAM – Sault Ste. Marie Airport (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario)
CYYU – Mont-Joli Airport (Mont-Joli, Québec, Canada) — note: some sources list the code as CYYY for Mont-Joli; CYYU may refer to a smaller field near there.
KSYR – Syracuse Hancock International Airport
Major airport in Syracuse, New York, USA.
CYYZ – Toronto Pearson International Airport
Main international airport serving Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
CYLD — Lloydminster Airport
Lloydminster, Alberta / Saskatchewan, Canada
CED8 — Clinton Municipal Airport
Clinton, Ontario, Canada
KINL — Falls International Airport
International Falls, Minnesota, USA
CFD4 — Registered Canadian aerodrome Canada (small GA field)
S88 — Skyport Airport
Duluth area, Minnesota, USA
KSEA — Seattle–Tacoma International Airport
Seattle, Washington, USA
6S4 — Fort Lewis / Gray Army Airfield (Gray AAF)
Near Tacoma, Washington, USA
(military-use airfield, often appears in sims)
I have thought about more so focusing on MSFS 2024 than 2020 as it tends to get a bit much keeping up with the two sims and trying to keep my two pilots in the same areas but right now it’s just a thought. I would have to get my 2020 pilot back to Toronto (CYYZ) to do that
2020, Van Nuys to San Simeon. Last of the winter storms in Southern California? Wanted to see how the Mugu Coast Guard helipad mod looked. The Bonanza Black Square Pro is a star in the hanger.
Santa Barbara is very lonely since Asobo changed something that made all the oil derricks in the channel disappear - the pads remain, levitated in the air. All you 2024 people got the coastal oil derricks with landable pads in the Channel Islands area?
