Greenville Spartanburg (KGSP) to Charlotte (KCLT) in the Bell 222UT
Satu Mare Airport (LRSM) in Romania to Chisinău Airport (LUKK) in Moldova done.
Quite a long journey in the NX Cub. Not a lot to it other than the Oaș Mountains, followed by fields in Moldova.
Next up it’s a trip to Odesa, Ukraine.
Time doesn’t always allow me to get on at the right time to do some of my European Trip, so I’ve also started a UK & Ireland trip in my NX Cub. Started at Wolverhampton to Shobdon in Herefordshire, then down to Spence Airfield on the outskirts of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire.
Making my first leg of this trip to Shobdon.
Lovely little airport!
Flying over Hereford on the second leg.
Really going to enjoy the landscapes and rivers working their way through the English countryside!
Spence Airfield. What a perfect spot to land to admire the sunset!

Last nights short flight from Spence Airfield down to Clench Common in Wiltshire as I make my way down South before heading West along the coast.
River Severn ahead of me.
River Severn behind me in the sunset.
Coming into land, the town of Marlborough in the distance.
Clench Common.
KEWR (Newark, NJ) – LPMA (Madeira, Funchal). 7+ hours in the 737 is a first for me; my virtual back is aching
Fourteen months or so of support work on a project; I’m just a bit burnt out. Needed my flying fix and racking up some more Powered Lift hours, so I started an island hop in the Bahamas using the Archer Midnight.
Flew from Miami to Cat Cay:
Nassau to North Eluthera - I wanted to check out the bespoke Gaya Airport there:
A relaxing, slow sightseeing flight from Wheeler (PHHI) to Kaneohe Bay (PHNG):
Departing Wheeler:
Approaching Honolulu:

Onward to Kaneohe:
Crabbing into Rwy 22 with a 17-knot crosswind:
There’s got to be a cafe around here somewhere:

Two legs of my UK & Ireland tour as I went from Wiltshire down to the South coast and over to the Isle of Wight.
My first take off at sunrise from Clench Common to Lee-On-Solent.
My first view of the South coast.
Crossing over The Solent from Lee-On-Solent to Sandown on the Isle of Wight.
Flying over Fishbourne, with the ferry terminal below.
The Village of Lake below as I came into land at Sandown.
One more flight from this morning.
Sandown on the Isle of Wight to Dunkeswell, a former United States base during WWII in Devon.
Leaving the Isle of Wight, Freshwater Bay in the background.
‘The Needles’. An iconic natural landmark, along with The Needles Lighthouse.
Unfortunately the nice weather didn’t last as we came into Devon.
